I love to grow peppers myself. I remember 2 years ago growing chocolate habanero. Those f#ckers were hot.
Note to all men. Make sure you wash your hands properly after handling them. I’d forgotten and decided to give myself a scratch in a personal area :fire::pleading_face::face_with_symbols_over_mouth:
Burning stayed with me for the full day :flushed:

I started Carolina reapers, some scotch bonnet, chocolate habenero, and 7 pot douglah. Last time I was eating a hab I rubbed my ears and my junk. Bad damn mistake.

Yeah nothing can stop the burning
I resorted to ice cubes wrapped in a disposable cloth bag.

I used butter and it worked… also when eating peppers, super hot one, a spoon of sour cream helps too :yum:

Hi paws, do you have any pictures of the 70’s seeds from washington?

I found instigators pictures, I asked for a smoke report but he disappeared from the site. Did he tell you anything about the high or the smoke experience?

I have 2 of the mystery heirloom females outdoor. I’ve been calling them Selah, it’s pretty catchy and I like using the origin point as the name.

Both grew in a V structure from the beginning. (I have seen this trait before on afghanis.)

I have a very small v shaped pheno with 2 skinny totem colas branched at the soil line. This one is slow and very short, but it’s healthy and low maintenance. The buds look good, very dense, decent yield for such a small plant.

The second pheno is a nice compact christmas tree a little over 4 feet tall with dense buds and a decent top cola. It grew out of the v shape, half of the V now forms the lowest branch branching at the soil line and it is stacking like the top. The buds are turning purple in the rain and looking decently frosty.

They are holding up really well in the fall rains, no sign of bud rot. That makes me think it is already pretty well acclimatized to outdoor growing in the northwest. It looks surprisingly dense / modern. I haven’t checked the smell recently, it will be interesting to see what that is like.

I seeded them with a pure sativa heirloom, it should make a nice hybrid if the high from the selah is good. The selah is small, dense, early flowering, and hardy. The sativa is insanely tall with whispy buds, and also very hardy. both plants are very healthy, mold and pest resistant, and vigorous in this climate. This is a good match to increase density and reduce height and internode spacing. The pure sativa male showed up late so they are lightly seeded. I will send you a stock of them if the seeds ripen successfully.

If the selah works for me medicinally I will try to get to preserving it soon. If it’s not a good fit medically, I may concentrate on a few other projects for my medical cannabis needs first.

Seems like a great outdoor line.

Awesome to hear all this progress. He said he found a leathery pheno and that most he had thought they were Afghani beans… I don’t have any pictures. And I have not grown them for years…sounds really awesome I hope you found something worthy in them, I’m liking the sound of the tree, and the v shape isn’t that common, or hasn’t been with what I have grown. I still have more of the seeds. Another user reported a rotten meat pheno. He said it was some of the tastiest smoke in his life. Thanks for contacting me about these. I can’t wait to have our cross! Thanks for putting in the hard work. Also, I assume you probably recorded much of it. Anyway, if we do get a solid strain from your sativa and the “selah”. I am very happy to of been able to provide these for this project. Thanks @zephyr :sunglasses:

Also @zephyr wanted to let you know the farm has been growing this strain continuously since they got ahold of the seeds, I had one picture. The only I could take and the plants were easily 10 foot plus, dense buds. Purples and just what one would say a freaking mess of pot. I sadly do not have the picture, nor could show it for security reasons. Please do understand.
