I just use, like, the natural PH. It’s God’s PH, man.

One of the side effects, that I have found, since I switched to organic additives, is PH has no hold on me anymore.
I do not even think about it any more.
Good luck with weed sabbatical.

Not sure what products your buying but my apera ph60 pen works like a charm. I calibrate it every 4 months using apera calibration solution. I only do the 2 step calibration. And i always keep the probe in their kci solution. I use GH ph up and down as needed.

I prefer strips and never had an issue. The issue isn’t “ph”, don’t blame “ph” for wanting to quit.

Sometimes your nutrients can cause PH issues do your homework on you feeding regime maybe there is something in there that’s spiking your PH. Two other things to consider cheap Ph pens with no track record of success are not great tools. You don’t have to spend more than 30 for a decent pen but the good ones ar 80 to 150 ish… One last thing to consider are you over feeding spiking your PH. Some of these modern hybrids are sensitive to over feeding … Cheers !!!

it makes your nutrients crash out of solution unless you dilute it, a lot.

Its like a half gallon to a tablespoon.

Have you tried boron? :thinking::upside_down_face:

Say what? bad PH products? I find that a cheap ph pen and test strips are good enough for me. We’re not rocket scientists that need 100% accuracy, in the ball park is good. With that said in Promix / peat based mixes ph ing your input liquids isn’t normally needed. They have buffers that help stabilize the ph. As others have said they don’t bother with the ph, if the plants are healthy no adjustments are necessary

I have ph strips but I never found it necessary to use them.
I just use the ppm meter and drop a few drops of ph down after I mix my nutes.
I do 100% coco :slightly_smiling_face:

They work 100% of the time to give a good reading on ph if your eyes can see the differences between the colors. I don’t bother with PPM either, I follow the recommendations on the bottles for how much I feed. I’ve been doing this a long time, its all automatic now after 30 years using the same GH products.
