Grow tip is tough cause I generally do less than what everyone else does. I’ll go with not being afraid to let the plant dry out more than normal once in a while. For some reason it seems like it benefits the plant to do so.
What a great giveaway. I was lucky and picked up a phlizon PH-1000 early on in my grow journey. I thought it would be a good extra light for vegetative overflow. It is now my favorite veg light, the plants love it. This thing could probably flower a small tent just fine as I have never even turned it up all the way. I would really love to try your other models and I have a 4x4 tent waiting to be setup until I get a new light.
My tips for growing cannabis…
Try everything and keep what works for you
Log everything you do in your garden. You never know when you might want to go back and review your process. Write down recipes, start dates, flip dates, harvest dates.
Clone everything, the one you don’t clone will be the one you want haha.
Dial in your environments humidity, air flow, temp, and light output.
Have a schedule and stick to it.
Start new clones or seeds every 2 weeks to ensure you always have something new to explore.
Everyone has knowledge to share, be open to other ways of thinking
Give clones and seeds to anyone who wants them!
I am in the USA and I secretly love Phlizon, originally I thought you were just another brand of lights I hadn’t heard of, but now I know that’s not true after using your older models. Found you cause I am cheap and saw light second hand, stayed for the quality! I want more!
If I win I would be happy to share my grow logs. I catalog everything I do to my plants in one website that I made. Data on over 90 plants!
My tip is you don’t need fancy cloning equipment, gels and powders and liquids. Cut your clones, drop them in some Luke warm tap water and leave them, change water every few days and soon you will have beautiful, naturally rooted clones that can go directly into any medium you prefer. great white North here thank you for the opportunity @PhlizonGrowLight
Buy any generic acetic acid powder. The chemical reaction doesn’t really mind which brand. A teaspoon will dechlorinate a bathtub so you don’t need much. Chloramine is actually very stable in water compared to chlorine and can’t be removed by bubbling. Also plants need vitamin c just like we do…
In my opinion the most important thing or tip I can give Is study, learn and listen before buying things, plan your environment, take some measurement and then apply your knowdoledge.
here
Heck yeah, I love light giveaways! Because I need one so bad… lol.
I grow organically, in soil inside and out. I would grow more inside if I had an LED. Electricity prices are rough here and all I have is HPS, 600w and 1000w.
One tip I can give is to get your plants up and off of the floor if you grow in a basement or any cold floor area during winter. Cannabis does not like cold roots. It will cause a plant to herm on you in no time.
I have a couple of new Octopots to use now for inside and the light would be the last piece of the puzzle. I plan on doing a grow journal for a few strains I already have going and will be starting in the immediate future. I want to show them for the breeders and a new light would make the Octopot dream come true much sooner.
Now, let me get out of here so I can meditate on #21… peace and thanks again @PhlizonGrowLight !!
Oh yeah count me in.
Tips… Instead of bud boosters with exotic prices try a pound of pure mpk powder npk 0-52-34 it’s sold under many names but it’s the exact same stuff for a fiver.
1kg calcium chloride and a kg of epsom salts costs around the same price as a bottle of calmag but will last many, many times longer, it also allows calcium treatment for a calcium deficiency or magnesium for a magnesium deficiency.
P.S.- I’m working on the transplants now cause i know they aren’t all looking that great butttttt just finished harvesting etc etc so its a work in progress lol.
Take lots of pictures and have a camera so you can check on them. When you notice the leaves drooping lower you know it’s time to water.
I’m in the USA.
Worm compost is amazing, it keeps organic matter in the life cycle, provides every single thing your plants need, and costs nothing but food scraps and old newspaper. And all you really need is a simple bucket.
Tip: After you harvest, only half of the work is done. A great grow can turn to garbage if not dried and cured properly. I know.
Country: USA
Glad to share a diary.
