I would consider the spectrum of both specs. Diode manufacturer is not the deciding factor in my opinion, I much more care about the light spectrum or uniformity of coverage in my growing area. Price would be one of the factors.
Greetings from Spain! Take a look at the giveaway @Jim@Tracker and good luck everybody!
I have previously invested in the more expensive Samsung evo diodes, but always compare spectrums and efficiencies with many others. I will always watch the technology and make the best choice regarding price and quality dependent my situation. I care more about quality, spectrum, and coverage than brand.
1: A light fixture for growing is an investment into better plants and medicine; so if I required to upgrade to better my results I would even with the higher prices if my needs required it.
Absolutely yes. I currently use a combination of cobs. Vero and Citizen. They’re great and they do work well BUT the spread is poor and the fixture/s needs to be mounted very high to effectively cover the canopy. The cobs were much more expensive than the Samsung evo led chips are now. So yes, I would pay more than their current value.
I will follow the tech, it seems to me thus far you get what you pay for so when these things cost a bit extra it might be worth checking out why but to be honest I cant afford to make such an investment but would if I had the flow
OO LA LA she lookin real sexy but would be lookin a hella mo betta hanging from my ceiling lol, Thank you kindly for the opportunity at such a nice piece of gear !!
I actually bought two since Christmas
I bought the 240 watt and the 640 watt for my son
I’m using it for 1 run then gifting them to him
So yes I would an did.
I love them so far
Yes totally need a new light the 100 watt led I won is way way to small for anything besides a veg light for the 2x2 I would really like a bigger LED so I can actually try a full run under LED instead of my old skool dinosaur magnetic ballasts which ain’t to bad on the electrical bill with those ballasts going n everything else I run at $11.32 a day which not bad but I’d like to try LED anywho @Cannabiscrusader@BTYGMO check out the giveaway
