Well said and I agree on the white paint and LED’s
My first grows we’re with 1000 watt MH and a track light running along the ceiling
The rooms walls were covered in HD aluminum foil
The ballast was HEAVY as ____
By the late 80’s my man eventually got the light the ballast and my Oahaus triple on the cheap.
“I must got lost, I musta got lost, I musta got lost somewhere along the line……”
I still have huge respect for J De Marcos among many others whose efforts have helped keep moving things forward and into the light
Like, just my opinion man
Those aren’t LEDS their blurps dude, oman, this guy trying to boast using archaic purple nonsense. You bought into the 600 watts jargon, SMH… ![]()
@PhilCuisine Bro, you brought back phototron memories, thank you so much, my pops had one, he didn’t do any good with it, so he sold it to my buddy who already had one. He grew the dankest purple buds in the phototron, back in late 80’s early 90’s. This is WAY before any purple craze existed. I remember reading the instructions when I was a youngster, I believe spagnum peat moss, and distilled water. Anyway, he did decent with two phototrons, not going to set the world on fire with yields, but dank… IT sure was.
Is that one of those bell labs socket mount LED lights with 3 panels? I’ve got one for areas with poor lighting to SEE but have been curious how those LEDS do for plant growth. If so, did you find out what type LED’s are used in the light, or trial and error?
I think I might do a small experiment with just that light (forgot what it’s called) hanging in Phototron. I’ve got nothing going indoors so it might fix the itch.
Looking great man
All I know is that it works for sexing, vegg and flowering…this is the only LED lights I have in my Phototrons and the rest of the vertical lights are compact fluorescents…
Great minds! I just did this last night.
What are you running outdoors this year @PhilCuisine ?
Still rooting cuttings/clones from these moms…Arcata Trainwreck clone only cross & Catpiss clone only cross and NYCD F2’s…
Still rocking those carnivorous plants?
