I’m at work right now, but it’s good to know that Bubbles is halping my partner at home with her crafting:
Blacky is the darkness!
Celia, a rescue from Texas in her forever home north of the border. She was adopted and returned twice due to her aggressively defensive nature; we were her third and last chance.
When we visited her she was on high alert, when we picked her up she bit me and I bled all the way home. I didn’t yell, or get upset; she was scared and needed to know she’s gonna be okay.
Getting her home she was both confused and excited. A few months later it turned out that we were her pack the entire time as she totally pulled a 180 with her aggression. (seriously, the adoption agency still doesn’t fully believe this is the same doggo). This was a good thing beyond the usual, as she’s a mutt with the jaw strength of a much larger breed (*she also has abs with an 8-pack).
Now I come home from work to hear “squeaking” behind the mud room door, and when I open it a belly crawling hotdog made of darkness so desperately happy that I’m back home that she rolls around peeing everywhere but that’s okay because I love her so freaking much and she knows it!
A solid hour of laying on her back and playing “bite, chew and hold Daddy’s hands and arms”… Celia also be Plorpin’:
