May get that chance sooner than expected. Things have picked up they are growing like cannabis finally. Ultimately this mirrors the experience from seed. Agonizingly slow early veg then they pick up.
Male is ready to roll, no sign of sex on the females…weird because they should be the “age” of the mothers right? They were cut from flowering plants. Whatever.
I’ve got some pollination going currently, but I think I can squeeze these in after the current project but before the next. If not they will have to be cut back a couple times and it’s gonna be a minute before I can get to them.
It had happened to me several times.
I bet is because tap roots from the seeds tends to occupied all the soil on the pot whereas the adventitious/fibrous on the clones will do the same thing but these are thinner, so it will have more than a plant coming from seed would do.
I forgot to label everything when I took the clones but luckily, in my opinion, we ended up with the funky male. (He’s still sweet but not obnoxiously so. He has another dimension) Should add a little spice to the f7 for those who don’t love tooth ache sweet cannabis . Literally, all 11 of these smelled stupid sweet other than that one male, if memory serves…
She would be amazing. I hadn’t known, before I started growing, just how beautiful and varied the plant was. They can be some of the most unique and astonishingly beautiful flowers.
So very true! I can’t BELIEVE how much dull green bla flower I have bought in my life when there are such beautiful pungent plants available from so many breeders and seed makers who wouldn’t call themselves breeders
The first sign of purple I saw on a early bud made me cut loose with a holler that brought my wife running. I got a good cuff on the arm for that. LOL.
It was exciting to me though.
That’s a wrap. I’m washing my hands of these damn plants. Conditions are on point. Just pollinated another strain in the same tent a couple weeks ago without issue. Here’s a couple pictures before I kill these.
