@Eagles009 i would love some of the seed you have. thats if they are still available??
At this point they are still unavailable. Majority are still on the plant. Gonna give them some more time based on the couple buds I harvested and the above advice.
There is a list in the first post. They will get first crack. This will not be a even split. Everybody will get a low number of beans ~10 probably; the goal being to get them into more hands. As such, I should be able to expand this beyond interested parties on the list so feel free to stay tuned.
I probably pulled 75 seeds out of those little buds. Around 1/3rd were green and soft. Those were discarded. About 2/3rds were hard and mature/almost mature.
I don’t think any amount of time would have led to the soft ones being ready. Are a good portion just not going to mature? Is this random, common, or a byproduct of over-pollinating the plant. She’s literally seeded head to toe.
If she is that completely packed with seeds, that might be normal. I’m thinking, mind I know less than nothing about this lol, that she can only successfully bring X amount to fruition. If she produces more than that amount, they will just end up being under developed, maybe lots of them. It sounds like your happy with the amount of viable seeds though.
I think I remember reading something along those lines.
I really had no idea what to expect for a final count. It’s fully pollinated and it’s a big plant but it’s very stretched out, mostly bare stem. This was a combination of 11-13 lighting during stretch, light too high, and a lot of stretch relative to other strains going at the same time.
I was gonna be happy to hit 250. 10 each for the list. I am confident at this point I’m gonna easily pass that number. So I’m happy with that assumption.
The f2 bean fizzled out and died.
The other two, F1 crosses, are both alive. I dropped 5 more of the f2. See if we get some sprouts this time.
Mom’s chilling, just getting plain tap. She’s coming down in a week or so.
Two popped open already. Why is it that seeds plucked straight from the plant struggle to open…but give em a week in a drawer in the dark and they pop right open?
Ive had them drop off my plant and sprout in a few days.
Yeah that’s about what I’ve seen. 3-5 days on the super fresh ones. But compared to the 14 hours these took that feels like an eternity lol.
3/5 popped in ~18 hours from hitting water. Not bad! Went ahead and planted all 5. Harvested another bud. Up to 98 seeds.
I’m not worried about seed numbers any more. Should clear 1000 I think.
Anybody gonna drop these asap? I can get a few people out. I’m confident these beans are good to go based on yesterday’s drop.
i can start the end of November and try a few
I won’t have a free space for this grow so I’ll wait but when I can, I’ll be ringing your number. lol
Off how many plants?
The 98 is from three buds, the 1000 plus estimate is for a single plant.
I can drop at least 4 or 5 asap. Well. In at least a couple weeks unless they get here real quick. Trying to keep popping some beans every couple weeks for a perpetual grow. This coming Friday is my next drop. Franco lemon cheese.
Mom’s dead. She hasn’t come out of the tent in a month so here’s some natural light photos. I havent seen that bright orange color on a cannabis plant before this one
And the test subjects. Dropped 5. 3 up and healthy. One about to be. One dud, still hasn’t cracked I dug it up a minute ago to check.
Some photos before chop above.
The closest I came to an orange like that was a phosphorous deficiency once
Gotta love that purpling too though
I cut the food off a bit ago so it was definitely very hungry. Cool way to show it though lol.
That proves you can see almost any color or combination of them in these beautiful plants! I consider myself an artist (of sorts) and I am amazed at the color profiles I’ve seen since I started smoking two years back.
