Okay time to start a journal. I’ve been growing a long time in soil. I grew in Promix/peat based mixes under 1000w hps hidden in a small basement oil tank room with a 5ft ceiling and ducts. About 8 years ago I move to a new location with 9ft ceiling and more space.
I now use Led’s in 2 tents a 3x3 for veg and a 5x5 for flowering. I have 2 SE3000 300w Spiderfarmer lights and an MarsHydro FC4000-EVO on their ends. I also have 4 Far red lights 2 Spiderfarmer and 2 Rapid led pucks. I just bought 2 Grand Master 450nm blue Booster bars.I have 4 MarsHydro osculating fans in the corners of the 5x5 and 1 in my 3x3.
I’m just finishing a crop consisting of 1 Gassy Cream Cake, 1 Critical Kush, 2 Triangle Death Kush and 1 of my own I found in a bud of Ice cream cake I grew. I started with 6 reg Triangle Death Skunk seeds and ended up with just 2 fems…my luck with regs.
I have 8 sprouts in my 3x3 about 10 days old I just transplanted out of solo cups and into 1/2 cells in 4 - 3.9 gal pots This run is 3 Rainbow Slurricane, 2 Grape Skunk, 2 of my own and another Ice Cream Cake.
I’ve been using Autopots the last 3-4 years and love them for ease of use and the tremendous growth I get off them once the roots hit the feed trays. I’ve always transplanted 5-6 week old plants into the 3.9 gal pots but with the added growth the AP’s give I’m playing with pot size. I’ve had 2 runs with the 1/2 cells & I see no problem using the Autopots this way. I also have the airbases and Air domes with air stones in them in all pots.
My mix now in the Autopots is still a peat based soil, this time using ABS Greenworld VPW30 ( a cheaper version of Promix), I mix in about 40% Perlite. A large tbs of Gypsom/gal the same for Azomite. I add 1.5 gal Worm castings to 6 gal soil. About a cup full of Myco’s per load.
I use a full line of General Hydroponics Nutrients, Starting with the basic of Micro, Grow, Bloom, Epsom salts. I start adding KoolBloom liquid at 2 weeks into flower then switch to KoolBloom dry after 6 weeks -9 weeks. After the 3rd week in flower I stop with Epsom Salts and start Cal/magic. I used Flurolicious Plus in soil but now in the Apots I’ve switched to Diamond Nectar. I use Hyclean to help with salt buid up. Iwill also use FluroKleen at the end of my runs. I start harvesting at 11 weeks and I run only fluroclean and water the last days until harvesting is done about 10/ml per gal water.

I still make pipes time to time but since they legalized it up here all the dispo’s are closed and they were buying all I could make.

The Critical is the prettiest but Triangle Death Skunk??? Dragon Flames Genetics looks pretty nice, at 6-7 weeks it was pretty pungent, subsided somewhat now but there’s a great potpourri of scents when I walk into my den. 1st time growing…Wedding cake is what I’m currently smoking and its pretty sweet, nice buzz and pleasent vanilla? maybe…nice what ever
Oh killer! I ran some dragon flame genetics when he was in hawaii. Some really nice plants came out of those packs. Need to check out his current list. I know when he moved back i lost touch or whatever. Will have to check it out

I swapped out lights today in my 3x3 veg tent, I had been using an sf600, a good little light for vegging…until plants out grow its foot print. I had added a 100w Burple I found at a Thrift Store for $5 when my plants out grew the sf600.
I had a Spiderfarmer G3000 in storage after purchasing a MarsHydro FC4000-EVO and today I swapped out my lights
I’d cut the light in half to use end to end in my 5x5 so I spliced it back together but some how got the left on the right and I haven’t a clue how cause in my mind it shouldn’t be possible.
Do you prefer spider farmer over mars?
I did up until I bought the FC4000-EVO. It has more intensity than my SE3000’s and the G3000. In this pic here you can see my SE3000 down low over my plants and the FC4000 giving the same lux at 2ft above the SE3000

Ya, I went from Hps to led’s after 1 grow with a Spiderfarmer f1000 I think it was, a 100w quantum board. I had triplet clones all the same size age and strain 2 I flowered under Hps and 1 in a small 3x3x4 closet with scrog nets.
The led grown produced 1/3 more smokeable bud than either under my hps. The buds were a bit smaller but harder under led/s same feed same everything. I dropped my hps and I’m full time led’s now.
My new 50 pint dehue arrived today, my 35 pint can’t handle it, I hope I don’t need both running at the same time to get my flower plants into their happy zone. I’ve been struggling with 58-59% at 7-8-9 weeks in flower.
My plants seem happy with the G3000 over them, I maybe just a proud papa but they look like they’ve grown since yesterday…They’re sure cute at this age. When I first open the tent to check in the am I get this awwwe feeling, like looking at puppies.
I’m turning on my Far Red puck over my vegging girls tonight for just 15 min at lights out. They are a bit low in the pots I’ll do this for 1 week only and that will jump them up maybe 6" and widen the leaves

I’m 71 days into flowering and 15 days with my new crop Far reds are on in both tents and my 450nm blue led bars are on at 100%. I have my other leds on at around 65%. My girls are looking great in both tents.
I had to buy a new Dehue a 50 pint my 35 pint wasn’t cutting it. Now both are running on turbo 24/7 to get me down to 50% in my flower tent, doors open
I’m in Autopots and dropping my feed as I go from 9 weeks in flower my last feed was 2.5/2.5/2.5/8/4 Cal/mag- Micro-Grow-Bloom-Diamond Nectar. I’ll run through that in 2 more days and I’ll drop to 1/1/1/2/2 until that runs out and I’ll add 10ml/gal FluroKleen/gal, GH’s flushing agent until I chop starting next weekend.

I did a little 90* bending of my vegging girls today. A couple were a bit short, I’ve been trying to stretch them up with the Far reds but I lost patients and 2 were getting taller than I wanted so they got bent over first the wtf while I’m at it I’ll get the rest bent too. I used a green plant wire to support and hold down.
Today was going to be their first feed but aft lifting the pots out I decided against it, still a bit heavy. I hooked up my veg autopot feed lines today They’ll only be fed from this veg res until they can be moved into my flower tent a week 10 days from now after all plants are cut and drying.
