Looks more like they’re just vigorous and eating the lowers to energize new growth. what feed schedule do you use or nutrients are there in the soil?

They require food specifically nitrogen.

When you see your leaves cup down like that and start looking like a dog that just did something bad uppot your plant like these folks have pointed out.Plant is eating all its resources they turn leaves into food and start going yellow from the bottom up to make nutrients for the new green growth rootball is probably exploding and blowing out that pot by now.watch her spring into action and put out a ton of new growth. If you turn the light up you will be feeding and watering more just a heads up so be prepared to make adjustments to feed frequency or volume.

I have alfalfa Meal and kelp little low on funds would that suffice plus I had some soil sitting with both of the items I have mentioned for about a week or so I was going to transplant them at the end of the week but they might need to be transplanted now. Is it ok to transplant if the soil hasn’t been sitting for two weeks

Provide them the following :

  1. Nitrogen - nitrogen is a mobile nutrient. Your bottom leaves are yellowing which shows nitrogen deficiency
  2. Bigger pot - plant is a bit too big for the pit. You should up pot it to a bigger size.
  3. Stronger lights - very high internodal spacing and stretching shows plant is stretching looking for stronger light.

It is okay to transplant, but your issues won’t go away soon.

You may not like this suggestion, but it works wonders when your plants are suffering from N deficiency.

Take urine (yes, your own). Dilute it in water at a 1:10 or 1:15 ratio and feed the plant. Urine has lot of urea which has lot of nitrogen. It’s a good quick fix as it doesn’t need a long time to break down like dry amendments.

my opinion you gave it too much or too little water. yes the pot is small, but the plant is not even a beast. the stems are thin, and you have already cut the apical top. fertilizer??? I don’t know the soil already contains enough fertilizer, if they were bigger I would have said yes it is lack of fertilizer, but…
I would do a new transplant, I would add much more light, right humidity and right temperature to favor more foliage and better growth. then maybe I would buy some fertilizers from advanced nutrients, the rino skin. plus vitamins, vitamin b. and rooting. then slowly some NPK in small doses.
In my humble opinion, each of us has his own.

you can veg just fine with t5’s just lower them 6 or 8 inches works well you can let the plant almost touch the tubes they don’t get that hot are there better light s sure but sometimes you have to run what you brung
