Plants are not even sprouting

I really do not know what to do at this point I bought a bar light for my temp and it leaves it at a constant 90 degrees which is horrible and the humidy is usually super dry like at 20 or 30 or something. At this point with this being my 4th attempt on trying to grow I really dont know what do and it fustrates me that at this point now I cant even get out the seedling stage this is the second time where it hasnt even grown out the ground and its been a week. I had to turn the light off and go to using 4 T5s lights just to bring the heat down right now its at 83 F with 63 Humidity by checking the VPD chart thats still bad but its not as bad as before at this point I’m really confused. I even took some bars out the LED and the heat stayed the same smh. I soaked the seeds in a plastic shot glass over night and then switched to plastic bag until i seen the tap root ad then put it in the dirt.

You could wet those and put some plastic on them to keep the humidity up . Once they sprout take it off. There is no need for much light until you have plants.

Agreed with what @Hashpants said, you barely need any light for them to sprout. I would turn off like
almost all of what you’ve got going right now except one of those T5’s.

As far as a good “humidity dome”, here’s an example of ones I’ve used -

They are just smaller, clear, party cups.

You don’t want that soil on either extremes as far as bone dry or soaking wet, but nicely in the middle. The dome will keep the RH up until they are big enough to deal with your environment.

Keep asking questions and showing pictures though my friend! We’ll get you growin’ some ganja!

i think i heard somewhere that germination takes place best w/no light. logically it makes sense, because they’re naturally germ’ed under the soil.

Many times ive sprouted in my humidity tray outside my tent and popped each seedling into the tent as they sprouted.

They can get a little leggy and wont develop chlorophyll if you forget about them for a day or two in the dark but as long as they dont dry out they’ll recover in no time at all.

Are the seeds fresh

If you’ve got an old bag from a loaf of bread you can cut two or three small slits, spray the inside with water, stick your cups in and clip the end - makes a nice makeshift high humidity tent.

Some seeds take longer than others, i like to soak them in water with a touch of peroxide in a warm place first. They germinate in a few days and plant the ones that developed a tap root. If they don’t after a few days i toss them. Soil looks bone dry, i like to keep the soil moist but not saturated with water. Also foil works great to out over the cups, i always use the sheets in a box. I don’t worry about light till it sprouts above ground.

It’s a bit hard to tell with the lights, but that substrate looks really dry to me. Are you keeping it wet enough? If you’re not using a dome or anything you’ll have to be sure to water them adequately

The soil looks very dry from the picture. You don’t need any light until the plant is above ground. Unless you need it to provide heat to the area. You can also get a cheap steam humidifier to raise the humidity

What is your seed sprouting method?

I don’t like the mystery of waiting so I usually drop my seeds in a cup of tap water and move them to the growing medium after they crack open. Takes up a bit of room for error in early overwatering and not having to wonder if the seed is good or is it me killing it.

I’m also curious on the soil used because if it was stored outside from a place the soil could very well be mold contaminated. I have a bad experience with it and only trust soil from places that store it inside. I always bought new soil for seedlings to be safe and now reusing soil from last year with no issues.

24°C and 80%rh with the germinated seed (soak in warm water for 24hrs to expose the taproot) just below the damp seedling starter soil or EWC then use light when the sprout breaks the surface. Like many have said keep a clear cover over the sprout until it has two sets of true leaves, and if you cant maintain the high rh keep the clear cover on.

Not sure why your temps are that high. What’s the lung room temp? Also definitely like to soak seeds in shot glass up to 24hrs max usually you will see a tail start to show by 24 hrs. Seedling stage is the toughest IMO. Good luck I think you can get it goin. Also are you sure the beans are viable

Let a seed soak on top water. Shot glass in dark quite area. See if it cracks and sprouts a tap root. Plant it if it does. Be a way to see if seed is good

I did this except I didnt use pweoxide I soaked the seeds and waited for them to drop then switched it too the ziplock bag and waited for the tap root.

Thatas what i did i soaked them in a plastic shot glass then out em in a ziplock bag and waited for the tap root. I was curious so I dug into one f the planrs to see what was going on and it was just growing a root straight down but not sprouting.

I germinate in the dark.

The Saran is a good suggestion but I just spritz them heavily everyday. Can’t seem to overwater them.
