Platinum Pineapple F4 - Server fundraiser by HeritageFarms

I received a package in the mail yesterday that will make today a better day for a couple of OG members, myself included!

The timing of the package has made Tuesday the best day of the week… and that’s unheard of… Tuesdays usually suck!

I am now content… for the time being.

I’m gifting a few Platinum Pineapple F4 seeds to @DesertRat and to @Tappy.

@Tappy… PM me your addy and I’ll get some of these beans to you, pronto!

Thanks a million! @Heritagefarms … I can’t wait to enjoy some pineapple with my morning coffee!

Any chance you have any extras of the Gopher Plant seeds? I have a mine field of a yard. Moles. This year I have a ton for some reason. The stray cats have come around a few times to catch them. They can spend a whole day watching those holes, lol. I don’t like the cats around because I feed the birds and the cats will catch one or two of them if I’m not around.

I guess it must grow well in the west? That’s where most of the gophers are! peace

Sweet, thank you. I have a few places to give it a go. The rose flower bed has them, and another bed. I have them all over the property this year so I’ll find lots of places to let it go. I’ll read up in it, too. peace… (PM being sent)

Ive got and have had moles , bad, for 20 years I bet. I got some seeds at a yard sell, free, they were sell material things and me and 'ol boy hit it off and he gave seeds to me of if I remember rite, caster bean plant? He swore they get rid of moles. I planted, grew, an watched mole trials go up to and all around the plant. So I let it die. Is that the same plant you have seeds for maybe?

Ricinus communis other wise known as Castor bean is a entirely different plant , and is quite dangerous in the wrong hands but rather pretty when growing. What I sent seeds out of is Euphorbia lathyris - Gopher plant aka gopher spurge is a deterrent to gophers and other ground rodents. I’m not sure how far away it keeps them and some people argue about it’s effectiveness but it seems to work for me. Part of the problem is alot of people wrongly identify other types of spurge as gopher spurge when it is not.

Don’t be brewing up any Ricin from them @TheBubbleKing.

Don’t even know what ricin is, do I need to know? And that plant is 15 years dead.

Well if you have extra, I’d try some on my moles

Only if you need to reload your Bulgarian umbrella…

You can extract ricin from castor beans. A few grains can kill an adult human. It has been used for assassinations and terrorist attacks, and it was a plot point in the series Breaking Bad.

I’ll try and gather seeds for you, too. It should grow well here. Everything but grass does. lol. I have so many moles I actually have pics and video of them coming out and eating grass or plants. And, I’ve watched them mine their (my) dirt. Really interesting but they are a nuisance this year.

My father in law, now retired has a favorite past time- stand over the mole trails w a bush lite in one hand, and a pitchfork in the other. When the ground starts moving along a trail, they get the fork!

Shit , the moles got so bad here, they outlived a group of warlock Doberman Pinchers I had, and a group of pitbulls, then I left for 11 years, and them fuckers are still here. My yard looked like a war zone. Every single dog, 6 in all would start digging the trail until they found the nest, then dig it up! From top of burm to bottom of hole would be 3-4 foot deep 7’ wide. One day my next door neighbor told me my dogs would dig them up, toss them in the air and catch them over and over until they bored with it then let them go. I had one hole the doby male dug that no shit, ain’t lieing or exaggerating went down 3’ turned left and 15 wheel barrels of dirt to fill up later, how I found it was a buddy and wife and 2 year old son came a visiting, we couldn’t find the boy when they got ready to leave, as we was hollaring for him, he came a walking standing strait up out of the hole, no shit!
