Hello og. After almost a year of reading post and trying to learn as much as I can from fellow growers, I’ve decided to post my own outdoor grow for this season.
Currently I have seven plants: 4 autoflowers and 3 fem photos. Most started May 16th or shortly after.
2 are sour stompers from Mephisto.
1 scarlet grape and 1 scarlet runtz from @Going2fast
1 Nepal jam from Ace seeds
1Bubble gum
1 Frankenstein from @JohnnyPotseed
I started most of these plants around May 16th.
They are all in 5 gallon pots, most are fabric.
1 Fox Farm happy frog soil
2. Earth worm castings
3. 10% extra perlite
4. Amended with Earth Dust
5. Weekly Recharge
6. Weekly Fish fertilizer
Any suggestions to improve this and future grows will be most appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to watch I will try to post updates and pics on a weekly basis
Looks great, @Pleasantrees420. Thank you for starting this thread and posting those lovely photos! I’m most interested in the autos. I’ve never grown them, only killed them, so I’m just going to pull up a seat to see how they actually grow!
What are you planning to feed during flower? Which fish fertilizer are you using?
You’re probably going to want to start easing off the fish (assuming it’s high-nitrogen like 5-1-1) and transitioning to something with some more P and K.
I’m not familiar with those but that should do the trick. I’d be careful with that mono potassium phosphate, that’s some spicy stuff. The Earth Dust Boost in conjunction with a dash of MOAB should work great.
Too hot and humid where I’m at to grow autos outdoors. They always stunt. May try vegging a few indoors and flowering outdoors next year. They all look healthy. I would cut back on the nutes on the autos. They will be finishing in a couple of weeks.
Since my last update, I’ve harvested all the autos. The sour stomper plant #1, Scarlets grapes and scarlets runtz are dry and now curing in jars. Rh is around 64%. The second sour stomper was chopped on Friday and is drying.
2nd sour stomper approximately 1 week before harvest.
Nepal jam, bubblegum, and Frankenstein have been stretching like crazy since my last post and have blown past their enclosure fence. Bubblegum and Frankenstein are healthy looking. Nepal jam seems to have developed a bit of a nitrogen deficiency. Bottom leaves yellowing and dying off. I did give it a small dose of Alaska fish fertilizer, and I believe it has helped.
I’m not quite sure what this deficiency is but if anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate some advice. It starts on the lower branches and is working its way up. I tested the soil ph a couple of days ago. It was 6.2. Not quite sure what to do at this point.
Buds are stacking like crazy on my plants and the nights are getting cooler. Leaves are fading. My backyard smells amazing. Everything seems to be progressing nicely
