I had to laugh real hard on that oneā¦ lots of close calls back then. Smoking since '71 here. I did a nice grow outdoors in '96 in the Appalachians, but I got the crap scared out of me with the flyovers looking for grows. I had the plane circling over my house one morning while I was putting on my boots out at the shed. I whacked it all that day, but still couldnāt throw it away. I hid it in an attic in a separate outdoor garage. Some of the best smoke I ever grew.
There have been a lot of changes since then. I never thought Iād live to see it this free and easy, either. I want my money back from all of the court fines. hehā¦ Iāll settle for leave me alone for the rest of my life. peace

I canāt grow this year until I can get my own place officially now. I bled that time as long as I could on my last grow, but hey at least I got enough to last me awhile. Iāll probably be posting in the show your plants thread this yearā:sweat_smile: while I canāt grow cannabis Iāll be continuing to work with my soil and grow myself some food again. Last yearās potato seed stock are doing well too

I felt that way in my 30ās, too. Shit, even in my early 40ās. But when I turned 43, it was like a lifetime of partying caught up to me. All those three-day ragers with no sleepā¦ Once I turned 45, I was like,āAlright enough of this,ā and started working out again. My girlfriend and I even bought a Peloton haha!

Honestly even being 30 IDC really.
All that really bugs me is my bones and muscles, but thatās been bugging me since I was 10 at least, so itās not really anything different TBH. I never had any handouts or success in life, so I donāt have anything to look back on fondly. Just behavioural training, therapy, being tackled, and having nearly every moment controlled by programs. I donāt miss a moment of it. Iāve never been happier with my life actually. I just recently got engaged to the woman who Iāve been dating for a few years and everything has been improving despite the problems going around now. I adopted the family cat that needs housing and sheās been so grateful for the love Iām giving her sheās behaving like a normal cat again. She was seriously bullied over there by the other cats. She can meow now. She never did her entire life and we got her as a kitten.
Sadly not growing weed with that light. Just a herb garden for cooking.

I just turned 55 a couple weeks ago. I was about as hard on myself as I could beā¦i was a wild child. 38 broken bones(never broke a finger, toe or my nose)3 major knee surgeries because I took a blow that bruised and killed the bone, bruised my spinal cord in my neck, that was the bad one. Changed everything. Luckily it was all on the sensation side of my cord so no function problems but it broke down the myelin and the nerves cross fire constantly causing severe pain. I was on a path of self destruction from age 15-40. Never thought Iād live this longā¦lol. Oh the stories I could tell. Iām still able to get out and do my thing but it does get tougher every year. I wouldnāt trade this life for any other but do kind wish I would have used the brakes a few times I didnt
