I don’t think they’d be bad to smoke, as long as you not ripping a bowl of just spider mites. Imagine what we were all smoking in the black market days? I have found whole dried caterpillars in buds before. Curious what chemical stopped them mid crawl 
Yea you’re right and I didn’t even think about the fact that there would be webs galore if they were all over it like that. I’ve taken about 50 leaf samples since I noticed them, and I haven’t seen a single live one since I did the dunking.
The buds and sugar leaves look pretty clean to me. I don’t see black specs (poop) or even much damage to the sugar leaves.
So i think a good idea you have of drying, then inspecting w a loupe or scope. Don’t trash anything yet imho. You’ve come this far don’t give up.
I’d be happy to inspect any buds for you lol. Someday we’ll be able to mail buds in the US.
I’d definitely try to use them for at least Green Dragon tincture or edibles. The tincture isn’t going to allow mites into the product as everything gets filtered at least once. You could also make edibles but if the idea of some mite parts making it into your edibles is a deal breaker, I’d go Green Dragon method.
And if the idea of mite parts making it into your food is a deal breaker, never ever read the official FDA list of what actually constitutes contaminated food and what we’re buying from the stores. 
Thanks for helping talk me off the ledge guys. Got them cut and hung. Made a little upgrade to my dry tent. 8" hvac pipe on my dehum to blow the dry air towards the top of the tent to hopefully push humid air down towards the bottom where the intake is. Like a dry air fountain

And that’s why I try to grow and hunt most of my own food. I eat venison several times a week as it’s hormone and antibiotic free protein. I just wish I could grow some coffee up in the mountains. Then I’d truly be self sufficient lol.
Find someone at the coffee shop to trade some single source Ethiopian beans for some bud. That’s helping out the community
Yeah, If bartering with bud was allowed it would make my life soooo much easier. I’ve been looking for a tree guy that likes weed to trade some buds for tree work for awhile now but no takers. Getting coffee and or food for bud would be an amazing world to live in. Maybe we’ll get there before I’m too old to grow anymore. I sure hope so.
You and me both. I looked into it and even in a greenhouse or something, its unfeasible. Have to grow the Coffee Trees for 5 years before they even start making cherries. One coffee tree on average produces 16-32oz of green coffee beans in a year(~10lbs of cherries). Idk about you guys but I’m going through at least a 16oz(1lb) bag of coffee beans in a week. So we’re talking ~30-50 Coffee Trees just to satisfy one person’s cravings for a single year.
30-50 coffee trees per American coffee consumer? Wow those plantations in Columbia & Ethiopia must be massive.
Yea I drink way too much coffee to be growing my own like that haha.

I hope that ends up being the case. I sprayed them down with citric acid about 2 weeks ago and i think the low ph fucked them up a bit. Blue is the PTS. Lost one JFT and one Oaxacan so far. Been hoping they all will bounce back. Things are rough atm
This is all the SSDD flower im going to be able to smoke. The stuff i sprayed down heavy with citric acid tastes like shit so it’s going to be made into hash. This jar is the tops that broke off while dunking. Thankfully this jar is really good.
Not sure wtf is going on here either. The pots got dried out for a day, and the pollen sacks aren’t opening. Not sure if thats related to them not opening, but no pollen is dropping at all. If i flick a branch, sacs just fly everywhere
