Anyone using this dry herb vape? I got it and only tried it with the capsules. It sucks. I can’t get high on it. Any tips? I plan to try it without the capsules and pack a bowl but it burns my lungs. Maybe I’m doing wrong but i tend to like burning a joint better. Maybe dry herb vape is different, but it seems burning is king.

Do i need to rip it through a bong. I will try that this weekend with a GB. If I don’t like it i will probably trade it off.

I have the Lobo and i use this all the time.When you were packing those little metal cylinder capsules how well did you grind it up?Did you toss the weed in a grinder first?When you packed it back up did you cram it packed?If you dont pack those capsules up and leave them a touch loose it will smoke a toke pretty good you will get three good hits.I set it for 420 degrees takes like 35 to 40 seconds to heat up i set it for three min auto off.When it ramps up and goes off when it hits desired Temp i let it heat that capsule for one min before i hit it .I was sketchy about these vapes too at first i wasn’t getting high but when i learned how to work them there was no way i was going back

I used to have a cheap grinder. I just got a Kannastör grinder and plan to not use capsules. I can report back Saturday with some gelato 41. The capsules were hard to draw through so I am going to just pack the bowl. I like the idea i dry herb vapes due to smell. But i need the high to hit like a joint.

No doubt No doubt man,I use these for smell purposes mostly and those canisters preloaded for days out for a quick hit then back to whatever im doing when im on walkabout.Dry vapes will hit absolutely nothing like a joint no matter what vape you get From Bickle and Stoltz to POTV gear to any chinese knockoff variant.Ive either owned or smoked off of all of them Volcanos too Dry herb vapes are a different nuance.The hardest hitting used to be this glass bong attachment we used to have in the 90s that the bowl was the same diameter as an electric heatgun like the kind you do commercial roofing with.That thing made huge billowing milky bong rips

Expensive, but the Terp Hammer with a dry herb bowl on a bong hits like a mofo. However, I still prefer joints.

I have the potv xmax v3 and I did not like using the capsules. Without the capsules that thing hits great. It seems to rip harder when using on demand vs sessions. I normally start out at 329° and raise it up to like 375° throughout the course of a bowl. I love that thing. Its a different effect than smoking but it easily gets me where I need to be and then some.

I’ve had a Kannastör for a few years now, love it. Cleaning is easy and the kief screen is the correct size! I found the course grinding plate the best for my vape.

Yes, I love mine. It came with both plates. I just saved some money and went with the rose gold color simple because it was on clearance.

One recommendation would be using dosing capsule and remove the metal element from the mouthpiece. It allows you for less drag resistance and easier cleaning.
You can flip the capsule if you do not feel the vapour anymore, that should give better extraction. Or use toothpick in the chamber, if you dont use the capsule.

Was able to try it without capsules just now, gelato 41. That was the whole problem. One bowl and I’m up there now. Ran at 390 but may try cooler next time.

I find the flavor best at lower temps and don’t hit higher temps until most of the flavor is gone anyway

This strain is so flavorful at 390 i cant imagine how it will be lower. I will drop it down next bowl and try it.
Flavors will vary based on temp because different terps volatize at different temps. The flavor will also last longer if you run it lower. I sometimes like different varieties at different temps.
