Pre Flower Stem Stress Manipulation

Hi guys, I used to work for a seed company that had me ‘bruising’ or ‘squeezing’ the stem just under the main nodes around the second week of flower… apparently this stress technique is meant to accelerate the production of the bud sites and in turn produce bigger buds. Is there any truth in this? :v:

Well I’ve done it to increase the strength and girth of the stems to support bigger buds. But I dont think it accelerates budding at all. Part of super cropping

Hard a to listen to Kyle Kushman and not hear Jello Biafra

Super cropping… that’s the name I was trying to think of. I think indoors it holds some benifits but my outdoor girls seem strong enough on their own.

Been working this GG4 since it was 4 nodes high…week into flip and waiting for the stretch.
