Are the genetics poor or do you just not like him as a person?
I’m watching a buddy grow out some putang and its lookin and smelling awesome so far.
Are you referring to star pupil as his mystery strain?

I don know a whole lot about him is why I ask. I also dont know who professor P is.

I just placed my first order through him myself, but I was gifted a few seeds of a few of his strains. Just haven’t grown anything out yet.

Are Mark’s seeds S1’s or Regulars???

Message him and ask for his current strains. I know he has more than what’s listed on his site and he tossed in a ton of freebies on my order.

As far as I’m aware they are all Regulars

I just hit him with an email about 10 mins ago. Also mentioned that ppl here spoke highly and recommended him to me. Stay safe be well and grow hard :fist:t6:

He didn’t mention any of the purples in the list of his current availability the other day. Though that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have some stashed away or about to be harvested. I do want to get more of his purple kush too, I was gifted 5 seeds and I want more to hunt through.

Mark is always full of surprises, and it never hurts to ask, he harvests new seeds daily I am sure.

Il be honest, the lemon had my attention initially. The purples were just a bonus. Hopefully I can find something equally as awesome if he doesn’t have the purples :sunglasses:

I’m getting some freebie seeds that he’s pulling out of a plant that he hasn’t even harvested yet, just because he didn’t have what I wanted in stock!
Just remember that his line of cut only strains are an inbred line of regular seeds, not fem S1s like others. So technically they were out crossed then back crossed, exactly how many times or with what isn’t usually disclosed. Based on the logs I’ve found of people growing his stuff, you won’t be disappointed!

Some of his autos, are not autos. @joker found that out.

Who has completed runs of his reg seeds? I haven’t seen any yet.

I’m going to post Mark’s Contact Number (he gave me permission). You can call or text him directly. He will advise you of his strains/availability. His prices are 25 seeds/$25, 60 seeds/$50, 100 seeds/80. You select ANY combination of seeds. Also…Autos are $25 per Dozen. ALL ARE REGULAR!!! He sends you the seeds in vails, you place your CASH in the supplied Self Addressed Envelop and mail it back. I assure you, there is NO better deal ANYWHERE unless you’re getting FREE seeds!!! I have been completely satisfied with Mark’s offering the last 3 years. I vouch for him 100%. ALL, do stay safe and, indeed, be well. That Number is 619-929-1106. (Word to the wise…he will talk your head off, better watch your minutes…lol)

I’m with badger… where are the finished journals?
Seen a few young buds here or there but you guys are really taking this all at his word… and acting as if these statements are all facts. I could tell you anything you wanted to hear in order to sell a seed. Where is the proof?
I have proof in photos and logs in various places that prove my genetics are what I say they are and that I’ve done the work I say I’ve done… I just think it’s a little odd that there are no links to journals on older sites or anything backing these claims that Mark has these IBLs and worked strains from clone only strains.
I have a hard time believing someone is line breeding and back crossing and doing all this work and hasn’t shared it, especially if the goal was to build a seed production business.

My very cynical $.02

I reference to Marks seeds

@Kingmambo @Old-Ron @Fluffhead420 care to weigh in?

I did not do a grow log until this latest grow but I’ve grown out some of his seeds. From what I’ve seen they are stable and predictable.

The grow journal I currently have going has numerous strains of his - Blue Dream, Blue Cookies, and Purple Kush. I’ve been posting a lot of pictures of them and all are beautiful and thriving.

I guess I would say I feel as comfortable with his gear as I do with the OG members who sell seeds. Far more comfortable than with most big seed banks.

Hope this helps clarify.

Guys, my point is not “they won’t be any good”
These days you can cross virtually anything you get your hands on and have pretty good odds that the progeny will result in decent plants. How many plants are you running before you call a strain reliable or uniform? 2 or 3 seeds of a variety is not enough data to make this claim. Anyway…

This is why I shouldn’t have said anything… I just find it laughable that the same people who vilify Strainly for selling unvetted stuff just totally 100% believe this dude and his story. I get that it’s cheap and he’s friendly… just don’t buy it myself.
I’ll bow out as there is clearly a loyal following and my point is already being lost on you guys. Carry on, I really hope it’s all legit and you all find keepers. :+1:

Certainly, part of what you see here regarding Mark is a result of his customer service. He is quick to respond - whether you’re ordering, shopping, or have a problem. That alone puts him ahead of most seedbanks in my opinion.

I get your point. I can only speak to my experience with his gear as I detailed earlier. I have not utilized his gear to breed and may never. I e grown out five of his strains if memory serves; all have had good germ rates, been vigorous and solid yields.

He doesn’t sell to the IG crowd because he doesn’t have Runtz, Zkittles, Ice Cream Wedding Cake or whatever. But to me his lines seem solid.

I’m sure we have members here who’ve grown his stuff more than I have. I will continue my grow log with those running now so we’ll see how these go but so far so good.

I know I can’t document what I’ve grown of his except what’s running now but I would absolutely give him a try.

Good point, I guess it would be hard to make bad stuff when mixing good genes. But as for how stable or true to the name, that I was wondering myself. Either way, $1 for or something your looking for, even if it’s a cross, is still a steal and they produced good product. Also they’re regular seeds, so if you feel like it, you can make your own crosses or selective breeding. Granted, for someone like myself that has never tried many of the strains, it would be nice to compare his version to the originals. On that note, how would I even know if the stuff local dispensaries sell is the real deal vs a S1 or cross of what ever they are labeled as. All The original kush cuts are harder and harder to come by.
I feel the issues that people have with the other sellers on strainly is that they want top dollar (or more) for their stuff, and there’s no accountability. Now I’m hearing People are getting banned for making a negative review.
