Professional Grade Equipment In a Small Space

This is a summary of how I built my indoor grow space. The room is 7’ x 12’. I lined the walls and ceiling with reflective mylar. Pretty much the same thing they use for tents but without the outer canvas layer. Sealed the seams and ran separate 220 lines for lights and HVAC. Ran multiple 110v outlets on their own 20A breakers around the room. Let me just say that it functions beyond my expectations once I learned how to use the Trolmaster system. It was a bit pricey and definitely overkill for my space, but it produces fantastic results and only gets better from here!

Throw up some pics.

Just to be nosey, why not use black and white poly rather than mylar? I have always prefered to work with the poly and the reflectivity is the same.

And are you running the room sealed with overnight venting?

Hell yea man that sounds awesome! After I built out my irrigation system what you’ve done is my eventual goal for my space. Hope you can grow some fire in there.

It’s working pretty well. Still dialing it in but just harvested some monster plants

First set up. I would have used panda film had I known of it. Learning curve. It is as sealed as I can make it and it keeps a little negative pressure. It does have a minimum night time intake/ exhaust to turn over the air. I have since used panda film in my drying room and replace a section in the flower room. I got a really good buy on that mylar as I recall

Very impressive, I bet the power bills a shocker though.

Your setup sounds boss! with that Quest dual 110, how are the humidity swings?

Wow that’s not bad at all !!! Do you mind if I plug an extension cord in lol Nice set up !!! cheers @cannaberry_for20

Edit- I would assume you have basically zero swings with those quests running away…

It stays within the deadband. Its set to 2% and the setpoint for humidifier is 1 point below the dehumidifier. It pretty much stays wherever I set it. Dialing in the smart features of the mini split to regulate temps before lights on and off to minimize spikes

Nice! I didn’t really think a 110 could be used in a room that small without massive swings, but you have it dialed sounds like.

It does really well. Very flat data trend over time and the daily, weekly and monthly averages are dead nuts to my setpoint. It’s spot on really. All credit goes to the Trolmaster controller though. It does a really awesome job once you figure out how to use it. It’s a bit of a pain in the ass and the instructions are garbage

What undercanopy are you using? I got a pair of the Faven recently to try them out. Good solid build, works as expected, 400 bucks a pair.
