Punto Rojo and Cuban Black Haze

First post, hope i do things right…

Been interested in landraces for a long time, grew a Citral about 35 years ago in my fathers garden in Holland, the smell in flower was just amazing, will never forget that natural perfume.

Now living in Spain where i can grow outdoors until somewhere in december.

Grew some nice sativas from Ace seeds, Malawi, Honduras, Panama.

Years ago i had an Acapulco Gold that finished the day before Christmas and had a great stimulating effect.

Tried some Moroccan, Afghan and Pakistani landraces and last year Kullu Valley from Khalifa, finishing half december.
Wanted something from Northern India as i had an amazing time there travelling towards the foothills of the Himalaya.

This season i got some Punto Rojo seeds from @Hyp3 which came with freebies from Cuban Black Haze.

Recently transplanted them from their pots into the soil and now they started growing very vigorously.

Cant grow massive plants here unfortunately, biggest issue is plant thieves, just about every year i hear about someones plants being stolen.
It happened to me once and was traumatic.
Had to move to be able to grow again.

Some pics from Punto Rojo:

And Cuban Black Haze:

They all got their preflowers a week or 2 ago and probably need about 3 months or more to finish.

Great pix. ty. I was wanting to see what that stuff looked like. Very sativaic. On Jim Belushi’s grower show, Dan Akroyd sent them to Colombia for some Punta Rojo and two other phenos. I think the idiots lost the seeds.

Friend of mine had some planks with nails around his plants, forgot to tell me when we went to take a look, nail went just between my toes, got lucky there!

Latest thing is local young guys flying drones to look for plants…too lazy or dumb to plant their own while there are so many places to grow here, its all countryside, hills and mountains.

Hola Poekie
Beautiful plants and beautiful background, I hope that move that you had to do was for better.

I do also have seeds from both of them and live in Spain, so your log will come in handy for next season

I will stay over here and see how good you are doing

Cheers :beers:

¡Muchas gracias!

I live between Alicante and Valencia about half an hour from the Mediterranean.
In the countryside, just outside a small village and close to the mountains, beautiful area.

First pic is the most vigorous one of the 4 females.

Cuban Black Haze

The one on the pic is the fastest grower of the 3 females.
One is a lot slower and more compact, could be the pheno thats called El Squato.

Punto Rojo, the most compact pheno, has much shorter internodes.

It’s nice to see piff/cuban black haze again. People were worried that it was going to be gone.

For some reason first i thought it was called Cuban Blood Haze instead of Black Haze…

Never tried these varieties before, really looking forward to the effects of these plants, especially as a daytime smoke, to be able to smoke and not get tired or lazy feelings.
