So, back in the day in Western NY, i used to get some herb from a close friend that had legit connects to the Dead Family. Not gonna ramble into the specifics, but man this herb i used to grab off him, which was few and far between for this specific type, was supposedly Sour D from some fam in NYC and the Adirondacks. Based off personal experience w Sour and other Diesels from back then, mid to late 90s, it looked like u would expect i too, but i tell ya this specific one had the nose, whixh also translated into taste was legit puppy dog breath and movie theater popcorn?!?! It was greasy and coated ur mouth on exhale and was straight up puppy dog breath then transformed to a mixture of the title.
If anyone has any info or insight into this, id lobe to startxa discussion and possibly try to track her down or at the least get some more info.

I remember we had some weed go around in the eden northcollins area that smelled like Dogshit but not the puppy breath.It was a super dark green almost black with the thick red 90s hairs neon green pistil pods dotted here and there not caping it.Really frosty stuff.
I dodnt say wet dog, i said puppy dog breath, 2 distinctly different smells/aromas. There was no smell of wet dog, this shit smelled, tasted and looked delicious exactly as described!!
I used to get units of headband from norcal (mckinleyville I believe , didn’t personally make the journey just received ) that absolutely reeked of puppy breath. A gram of the shit smelt like two open lbs in the car. I would give anything to find that cut again. Have t seen it since 2013 or so. It def wasn’t 707 headband. I was told it was possibly loompas
And that was also floatong around at the time as well so who knows but what ur describing is exactly what i remember, suoer potent smelli g and undeniable puppy dog breath!!
I have come across those profiles in two different strains.
A local dispensary had this batch of stardawg that literally reminded me of puppy breath, straight up.
And regarding buttered popcorn I got that taste coming from another flower called 8 Ball Kush which I believe is a Barney’s strain.

Hell yeah! Story goes something like…loompas mentor flew to NY in the 70s and mailed himself a cut back home from NY and said cut was left to loompa as just headband , he spread it earning it the moniker of loompas headband , I’m smoking sherbhead RN (sherbet x loompas HB ) and if I close my eyes and focus there’s def some puppy breath behind the lemon and cake but not that real crazy puppy breath like we’re talking so maybe it is in the pure one …I bet we are onto something.
