Here’s a Benzina that I grew outside. I took these pics at the end of March, and took her down a few weeks ago… forgot to take more pics. Benzina is a really nice plant. When I got the clone it was part of the El Krem club, but now it’s not listed in that group, not sure why

@Alaskagrown damn dude, fantastic photos. if youre into sativas, keep a look out for “Bob Hope”. that cut is insanely fruity, my favorite daytime smoke these days by a long shot.
@Zanzibar your plant Benzina is a daughter of “PapayaBerry Runtz” x gmoasis. PBR cut was supposed to have the most insane candy/berry terps. My buddy was raving about her but she only dropped like once down by me. Evidently the bud was kinda scraggly and customers complained so they pulled her which is a bummer. PCG tends to release “seeding” crosses that are next seasons testers. I bet we will see Benzina come back as a cloned pheno next season given how awesome your plants look (and hopefully smell).

I was after one of PCG Gary Payton cut??or is it just Payton.
When I looked her up on there actually website the strain was only under Payton and not Gary Payton.
But when you seen her listed on the dispensary website They had her listed under Gary Payton.
Some how I think the dispensary messed up lol.
Either way when I made my way to the dispensary all the Payton strains they had left were pretty much dead so I passed and picked up the papapaya bomb instead.
They should be getting switched over to the 5x5 in the next week or so.

hilarious. best i know of PCG has distributed a “Gary” cut but not a “Payton” cut. They claimed it was the legit GP cut on insta but they never seemed to drop that one at my dispensary. I did however try her daughter Supersonic (GP x project 4516) and absolutely loved her. She hit the bin because i dont have enough space to keep every cut but she was indeed bangin.
seems like you press? if so, she was probably a better choice anyhow. lots of those candy cuts dont really press well.

I grew the PCG cut of Rainbow Belts a while ago. It was FANTASTIC 
I wanted to try the Gush Mints CBD when they had it going around, but I missed my chance.

agreed. their RB cut was pretty fire, i lost her due to poor mother management and i was bumming about it for days. Gush Mints CBD (their 1:1) is still very much in their lineup. If youre interested, id be glad to pick her up and send you out a rooted cutting. i ran her only once but the flavor was on point. much more berry forward than regular GM with like this chemical aftertaste almost like berry cough syrup or something. it was still pretty strong for a CBD cut, friends who only smoke low low borderline hemp buds thought she was too strong. personally i loved her but not enough to keep her in my stable.
@anon3323625 where did you get those seeds? i havnt seen any drops of that cross. youre damn lucky! i wish they lowered their seed prices, a 3x pack is like ~$100 at the dispensary whereas the clones are $25. i was soooo tempted to pick up some of their autos lineup then got sticker shock.

Purple City Genetics Europe online shop. It is no longer available there, although it might be available through other European vendors. I grew two of them and lost them to a heat wave (some carelessness). This is literally the last one.

Huge huge fan of PCG! Have run 5 seed packs so far I think and probably about 15 clone strains.
From seed, the Lemon MacMelon was epic. Our keeper cut dropped a 40g top cola, on a plant just under 4 feet. Lemon Indica, yes I put those two words in the same sentence hah! Fantastic strain.
Chapel of Love is amazing. Being a big Cake fan, this one checked all the grower boxes and my personal boxes. We got 2 keeper phenos, one more cake leaning, both top notch.
Just popped Bomb 415, starting to poke their heads out now.
Have Fruit Gushers in early flower. Typical crazy vigorous and healthy PCG work for sure.

From clone, Grandi Guava is super frosty and gorgeous, and a good smoke. She is on her way to flower again in maybe 5 weeks. Gush Mints is a favorite, checks all the boxes. Slurty is incredible, another one that checks all the boxes, as well as Vanilla Creme Pie.
Have often wondered why PCG isn’t mentioned in the same breath as all the top breeders. Even in California they don’t seem to get the attention they deserve. Having run quite a few seed packs of Beleaf, Jungle Boys, Compound, Relentless and others, I honestly think the fems from PCG have a higher keeper rate, and tend to be much more vigorous. Except maybe compared to Jungle Boys who seems to put priority on vigorous growth.

oh dude, i was wondering about their seed lines. glad to hear theyre fire as well. i noticed they put out some autos this year as well. my dispensary doesnt seem to carry their beans for some reason, only the cuts. .
i actually made my own version of their “chappel of love” (wedding cake x gushmints) before they started distributing it. i was passing em around as freebies for a minute
