Question about Harvest and process Seeds

Hey,

First things first, iam so close to chop my plants. and i already got like 4 branches ( to see if they’re ready the seeds).

How can i seperate the seeds from the green small pieces of weed?
How can i then get them out there?
Maybe some tips to get this done easy?

Second question, is there any way i could

do u wanna see a grow diary, or nobody want’s to see that?
It would be 2 grows
120x120 (4x4)
60x60 (2x2).

120x120:
5x Black Kush - Khalifa Genetics
1x Marshmellow OG - Compound Genetics
6x15L (3.9 gallon) Autopots - With 2 Scrog nettings

sure, someone will look at it, probably a few people.

as for getting the seeds out, i do it by hand. wear rubber gloves though, it’s a mess. i’ve seen some contraptions that do it for you though, do a search on seed separation maybe.

Let everything dry out, take buds off the stems, wear gloves and then rub the flowers in between your palms with applied pressure. Everything will crumble, and doing this over and over will remove the calyx from the seeds.

search OG for: “Coin flip”, “seed puck” or “Seed coin”.

Dry well, then smoosh it up by hand, either in a bag or in a tray, then you can use a tray or similar device to try and separate by vibration or shaking… seeds are heavier than flower

I’ve tried to separate them in the bag I smoosh them up in, it’s more work than just taking it out

Okay, so i crumble them down. But how can i seperate them then? From the green stuff that we all love? (the seeds)?

To shake, and have the seeds fall off

Je i thought about something like holding it 90°.

Then take them and put them into a sieve? But iam scared that i rub to much of from the seed u know?

I tryed sieve… it was so great to get these little green out that was left there.

I did 8k seeds with a shoe box lid and a plastic card… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
But that was over several days…

Wear gloves, put well dried bud in trim bin, break it up, gently shake or vibrate

It will separate, you can use your hands to help gather masses

Expensiv plastik with 1 mesh… i dont know

and the hash is not the yellow from the egg, u need to buy another mesh with lower Micron
Its getting to green under the normal one.

Well, it depends on cost… true

But if I need to do this with plants over and over, seems like useful tool

After all, I have a seed run going, then co op run, then another…
