Thanks @TopShelfTrees1 @Tejas @FieldEffect !

Luckily the storm didn’t last that long. It was very short and intense. Still getting some rain, but nothing crazy. Had a big limb from a tree come down and hit a couple peppers. Hopefully they rebound. No breaking of cannabis plants, just plants that fell over due to extreme rain and wind. Definitely the windiest storm I have seen around this time of year. Everything was fixed promptly so no big issues.

Thanks for reaching out everyone!

Male love dungeon update:

I added the rest of the PNWHP x Puck dudes into the love dungeon! Very uniform in leaf shape with #7 being a little more narrow leaf and more branching longer internode structure. Essentially all the same height. #1 and #2 have an extremely thick main stalk. #5 has by far the most intense stem rub. I’m looking forward to seeing what the flower structure shows!

#2

#7

Harvested some Ike’s humboldt afghani #3 pollen today and im about to get to that freezeland (pluton pheno) later! Thanks for checking in!!!

Looking fantastic

That NL 1 x Puck is gorgeous. I mean, everything is looking great. I just lust after that NL x Puck in particular

How can you not? Stellar genetics right there!

Thanks @FieldEffect and @TopShelfTrees1 ! For the past couple years NL1 was a staple in the garden. This year I got all male nl1’s.

It is going to be fun checking out how the puck interacts with the nl1. Seems to have nice strong branching so far. Hoping to find some fire! I have 2 female and 4 plus males so hopefully I will get some seeds this year and keep the line going! Thanks for checking in means a lot everybody!

Grabbed some more pollen from the love dungeon!

Ike’s humboldt afghani #3 - top was so heavy it bent over. Very nice flower to leaf ratio.

Freezeland #3- pluton leaner kind of formed a multi head situation. Looks like a very fast flower afghani type!

Nice! Those Freezeland are definitely some interesting plants and that Ike’s has some crazy long fingered leaves, along with a nice flower cluster of course!

Thanks @ElGalloBlanco !

First year growing out the Ike’s. The other male top fell over even more than #3. Looks like this line needs extra trellising! Has a nice berry stem rub on them.

Freezeland should be a workhorse. Wanting to use this pollen to shorten flower times and add mold/pest resistance. Also, to preserve the line so I can do some more digging into the genetics.

Absolutely! You have me thinking I need to do the same thing, haha. I like the look and the history (IBL) behind them, have some Purple Pakistani Chitral which could make for an interesting cross between the two inbred lines. Fast flowering, mold resistance, Friesland could add branching and yield while the PCK adds color. May have to try those outdoors next year.

That would be a cool cross!!! I’m down for the project!

Here is a female Purple Pakistani Chitral from Bodhi Seeds that I have going right now, I had a few males but I already culled them as I wasn’t anticipating using the pollen from them as I have more seeds in the pack that I am earmarking for preservation and pollen collecting sometime next year or so. I had a really nice all purple male from the 4 seeds I popped and now I wish I kept him around for some pollen collecting as that would have been nice to dust onto a Freezeland female of yours.

Anyway, I can pollinate some of the lowers on this lady if you are interested in parting with some of your Freezeland pollen, whatever male you found the most interesting or wanted to see crossed with the PCK. I will also say that I have had a really bad time with botrytis the last few years outdoors so I am really hoping that this PCK is as mold resistant as they say. With that being said, I can’t guarantee that I will be able to run the plant to fruition either so there may be no seeds to come of the potential pollination either.

We might as well try!!!

Right on, it’s really odd because while I do live in a fairly temperate location, the summer high and low temperatures basically stay in the optimal botrytis growing zone and we get a lot of heavy overnight fog, however if I have a botrytis resistant plant, I have run them up until Thanksgiving some years as we don’t get much for early rain and hardly any frost until winter really sets in (even at that, the high 20’s is usually the coldest it gets and that is more of a rarity).

Anyway, just let me know when you are ready, I am lower in the lower 48 than you so my females likely start to flower before you are used to up there. But it looks like I am still more than month away from when I would need to pollinate (assuming week 3 or so of flower).
