Randar Grows Some Dank

Now starts the hardest part of a grow. Waiting for the damn things to finished with the dry and cure. At least while growing, there’s watering, trimming, etc. Now it’s mainly waiting to enjoy the fruits of my labor, plus an extended stint in trim jail.

Yeah the wait can be brutal. I always try to look at trim jail as a good problem to have. Then again I don’t have too many grows under my belt, so I get it probably gets old.

Alright, I checked this morning and they are ready for the dry trim and jarring up as of this morning. Been hanging since last Wednesday. With four plants, and a busy schedule, it may take a few days for me to trim, weigh and jar all four plants. However, in celebration of my grow being completed, I’m opening up one last seed giveaway. Haven’t yet decided what strain it will be, that will come later. For now, use the wiki below to sign up and guess what my overall (all four plants combined) yield will be when all is said and done. This will be Price Is Right rules, so the closest to the final weight without going over wins the seeds. Entries can be modified as much as you want until I close the wiki and post the final numbers (should be Monday or thereabouts). Simply sign up with your username and your guess. Good luck to all!

While flattered by the first three guesses, please remember:

  1. the four plants in question are shown in various pictures above. Use them to refine your guesses.
  2. While I have gotten over a pound before from two auto plants, I find it hard to think that I grew plants that were over 1.5 lbs / plant. Maybe I’m wrong and did amazing, but I doubt it. Also, remember that we’re talking Price is Right rules. So better to be low than high. (I see the pun there, no need to call it out )

Burping jars today.

Unfortunately, as it now stands, nobody in the above giveaway has a winning guess (all over the actual number). So, I’ll leave it open for a few days longer, feel free to jump in with more guesses, or edit your existing guess above. As a hint since nobody won, the total figure is under 2 pounds.

Final numbers are in and we have a winner now!

Weights:

Gorilla Bomb = 122 grams
TnT Trichome = 117.18 grams
Swiss Skunk = 122.12 grams
Swiss Skunk (stunted) = 153.11 grams

Total = 514.41 grams (1.13 pounds)

That means the winner is @CrunchBerries! Congratulations! Send me your info and I’ll put together something nice for you.

So, overall a disappointment in terms of the end weight as I was hoping to kill it with four plants (since I’ve gotten over a pound with two before). But I attribute that mainly to not having vegged long enough. Also, I was impressed that the little stunted skunk that I thought was going to die ended up being the biggest producer!

I knew I should’ve went with 500 grams :joy:

I’ve grown quite a few plants like that. They start off small, then come flower time end up growing huge. The Meridian Haze I’m flowering right now did the same thing.

Nah you still successfully grew some great buds. Good job!
