What do you guys think? Breeder claims 6-8 weeks germ to harvest (purple kush auto) I’m 3 days short of 8 weeks, I’m thinking around a week left?

If you had to pull it now it would be ok but much better with just a little more time check the trichk es if you can that’s the most reliable way to harvest nugs that smoke the way you like.

This really isn’t a harvest question but more of a pollinated question.
Do these look like they have been pollinated?
I don’t want to harvest if there is seeds growing in there because I want the seeds.

I’m seeing a bit of seed work happening there …first and last pic, bottom right can see a seed popping from a calyx so I’d say you nailed the pollination if that’s what you were after lol

Day 62 - does anyone one know if purple is a substitute for amber? Lots of purple developing but only a little cloudy and no amber.

I would say yes if it goes from clear to purple I would say the purple is taken the place of Amber makes you wonder what kind of magic is going on in there for it to go to purple

Any chance the color is a reflection from the lights or something else?

I don’t believe this to be the case. The lighting in this pic comes from my microscope. It is purple both with a white and a dark background. I have amber on a different plant that is definitely amber. Weird eh?

Purple trichs are pigments getting pulled from the leaf, keep waiting on the amber lol

I have had a few strains due this and hoped they would stay purple but they went amber/deep red color when done. Wouldn’t some natural purple rosin be awesome though.

If those are the sugar leaves…I would try for an actual bud to photograph, since sugars will mature faster than buds will.

I’d say two weeks or so. Some new looking white hairs and it’s still a vibrant green but looks like it could soon start to fade.

Thanks , its a 2nd gen cross I did last year with some VN(Vietnamese) X GGlue . Its been a very slow grower, over 6 months now, so I’m getting impatient but thanks for the feedback.
