Bodhi spirit train. Thinking a week or so longer. One pheno a little less, one pheno a little longer.
I did go back and look and the breeder say the Afghan Cherries is an 8 week. So I’ll definitely be keeping my eyes peeled this next week
Hey All,
This is my first time growing/harvesting and was looking for some input. With this being my first grow, I started off using some freebie seeds (didn’t want to waste my “good seeds”).
I clipped a small sample to get some loupe shots in natural lighting. The whole plant looks very similar to the sample I took. Hope that helps!
Thanks in advance for the input OG!

Hey dude! First of all, congratulations on your first grow! Getting to smoke your own homegrown is such a wonderful thing and I’m very excited for you.
I’d give her another week or two personally if the plant looks healthy. I like to harvest when I see about 20-30% amber trichomes on the bracts, and I’m seeing mostly cloudy trichs in your pics.
Once you’re ready to harvest, make sure you’ve got a good temperature and humidity regulated space ready to go.
Thank you @thecurtainwith !! Really appreciate the help and kind words. This first grow was a great learning experience for me and easily the most rewarding hobby I’ve taken up.
My initial thought was she could benefit from another week. I’ve seen the saying “if you think you’re ready to harvest wait another week” quite a few times on here and it’s dead on LOL.
I have my drying tent set up and its ~67-70f and ~47-51% RH, just waiting for the plant to tell me she’s ready to make the move haha.
Thank again!
I don’t know how to blow up shot but this is HSC Blueberry Muffin. “45” day flower period. I’m on 47 and its mostly cloudy. 92% maybe and rest is mix of clear and amber
What do you think?
General question for all:
when you say “day 47” are people referring to time since flip to 12/12 or # of days since first pre flower was visible? (8-10 days later)
I’d go 2 more weeks myself.
My statement is from flip. Took a few days for pistils to show. I am gonna try to get more amber for sure but had to ask as first time growing this plant. I cut a top off to see how it is at around 45 days. Its a test plant so no biggie.
My understanding is that in the indoor cannabis world, people are typically referring to time since flip. However, I go from the time I first start to see buds cause I just feel like it makes more sense to me, and it’s more similar to outdoor cultivation where there’s not really a point at which all of a sudden the light cycle dramatically shifts.
Just my two cents
Thank you, this makes sense to me.
Happy to help!
Looking good @Goldleaf808!
Hello guys, my first post here, greetings to everyone …
In these images are my latest plants …
They are 16 weeks old in bloom, in the guerrillas.
Some leaves have amber drills, but the flower still has the most transparent.
what do you think?
I think your close. Harvest window can be quite a personal preference thing. I like my weed to be bright and heady, not dark and heavy. For me that’s mostly clear, some cloudy, and a few amber. Your almost there. If you wanted you could wait longer for a more couch lock type high. Excellent job with the pics and keeping an eye on the trichromes. A couple of days to a strong week… the choice is yours. Welcome to OVERGROW your gonna love it here.
Herijuana '19 plant, week 9.
I think (and this, is where I usually stick my hand into the table saw)… she may be ready. what do your weed-razed eyes, let you see?
regards,
I’m seeing something like 2:1 clear to amber & the balance cloudy…
If you like peaky, now is perfect!
It’s a tough, personal call.
Cheers

Hey bud, the leaves tend to amber before the rest. Can you post a whole plant pic please?
Thanks for the info, Taking one down tomorrow and another the next day. I was holding out for more amber
