Ready to harvest? Post your pics and get advice 🌸

this is from a bud that I cut to inspect, no leaf was harmed during the taking of posted images. I can take a couple shots of the whole-bud tomorrow and post them, I have it saved in a bag.

Thoughts?

Thinking of running her at least one more week before cutting? She is starting to fade on her fade leaves already and is almost at 8 weeks since flip

I would agree and leave it one more week but it is in the harvest window. Looks great bud.

Alright so I don’t have an exact day on this plant’s flowering and what strain it actually is. It is either an 8 or 9 week strain and I believe we are in the 8th week. I’ve tried looking at trichomes but for some reason I am struggling to get a good view. Is she done or is she as close as she feels?

My guess is another week.
I’m seeing enough viable pistils to think it’s not quite there yet. A couple macro shots of the trichomes would help pin it down.

This come from a mass medical e pupil plant i was running for a while. I lost the cut. For some reason after 2 years running her she decided to herm. Like every clone hermed but no other strain hermed just her. Idk why.

Question ive got a nl5 x ss thats got 30% amber trichs. Im looking for the narcotic sleepy end of the window but dont want total thc degradation. The pic blurry cause the fans blowing colas but you can see the amber about 30% should i try to push longer for more cbn or not

ive pushed to full amber before and it was like the plant lost all potency. Opinions from the pros please.

The new pistils are her foxtailing to the 1000w. Most are receded already just the foxes kicking new ones

Hey guys,

Let me know what you all think. Does she still need more time to cook or is she about done? These shots were taken from a lower down bud as well.

Thanks guys!!

A lot of clear there and no amber to speak of.
I’d give it another week and check again.

Hi people, What do you think of this plant, is it ready? Is it time for personal choice?

She is in the guerrilla, with 19 weeks in Floração.

More time. As gpaw said theyre pretty clear. They lose that real glassy look n get more opaque or milky. What week you at on what strain? Lot of trich coverage there should turn out pretty good for you but wait til the heads at least are milky. Maybe push to some amber.

This one is tough to see. Are you saying shes been flowering 19 weeks? Im no pro but based on what i see id still wait a lil. Can you get better pic? If thats 19 weeks in flower she should be there.

Oh just side note. The 30% amber came out real nice. I let her go a lil past this and starved her for water last couple days. She came out pretty strong with a laid back high. Im on limited intake lately but 1 bong hit n 2 hits off a joint i was pretty good without an anxiety attack happening. Lasts few hours. This is with no cure.

Thanks @Gpaw !

After uploading those pics I realized the lighting/pics themselves weren’t the best, so I took some more this morning before the light came on. These shots are throughout the plant (the previous pics were of buds on lowest branches).

This morning I started seeing some amber trichomes, but I don’t trust my eyes since this is just my second harvest.

She’s Peach Pie in Week 8 of flower, counting from when she started showing pistils. Hope that all helps!

Sorry, now it’s better.
Come on,
Germination: 9/15/2020.
Flowering: 01/05/2021.

Lots of amber there. It’s like it aged a week!
I’d say you are just about there, now the question is “how do you like your high?”

If you’re not sure, you can selectively harvest a branch or two and let the rest of the plant continue. It’s a little bit more work but you get to see what the differences are and what you like best.

Much better. Id say youre in the window niw. Youve got amber and nice cloudy trichs.

As gpaw says now its preference. Longer will result in more cbn and more narcotic high. But youre past the early end of window already so now is good or push lil more and it will convert lil more of the thc to cbn. Really i think cbn is more important on indicas and hybrids than in a sativa.( which im assuming by the long flower time) you probably dont wanna push it too far. Just my opinion.

I do like a little couch lock, but don’t want to risk missing out on the “peak window”. I know it’s a learning curve, so I’ll take your advice and take some down now and leave some for a little longer and test the differences.

I have 4 more peach pie plants in veg right now, so this is the perfect opportunity to test out my harvesting process.

Really appreciate all the help!
