Yeah I wouldn’t have expected a vanilla, but that sounds pretty neat. Hope it carries over to cure side!

Right? I certainly have never had a vanilla smelling plant before. Closest would be cookie hybrids that smell like sweet bakery foods. Definitely unique. Really hoping it does make it through the dry/cure like you said!

Good morning dude! Hope you had a good Easter!

Thanks, man! I really appreciate that! You too! Took it easy for Easter; very uneventful, which is pretty ideal for me

You sure do grow some beauty’s…

If you had to narrow down two strains you’ve grown out in the past few years, that you would love to grow again… what do you think they would be? Do you favor sativa or indica leaner’s or a more balanced hybrid?

Thanks! Man, that’s such a tough question. There have been so many good ones. Slurriking and Dry Ice by In House have both been great, couple winner phenos that have been mind blowing. Then my friend had a white label Durban Poison that was also surprisingly strong and tasty. And of course your CJ91 will forever be in my top 5

I’d say 3/4 of my smoking is modern polyhybrids, I definitely do like stronger or more sedating strains, but I also need that 1/4 of trippy/zippy narrow leaf/sativa strains to keep it interesting.

How about you?

You know I’m a Chem fan, never thought the skva cut would get out where I’d have a chance to aquire it. I feel very fortunate it did.

The Cap Junky gifted to me was a surprise in the sense that I like it so much, I believed the hype of the 20 minute buzz and quick tolerance build up. I’m not experiencing any of that… well not as of yet anyway.

I don’t see either of those going anywhere in the near future. I’m an indica guy with a need for a mellow sativa that gives me focus and energy without raciness and anxiety. That search is ongoing.

I have some genetics in the collection here that I’d like to get to, several from OG members. Looking fwd to a package inbound from Germany…

Lol, I wasn’t fishing for a compliment on the CJ91, but i will gladly accept. I am thrilled those of you who ran her think highly of that roll with the dice. I am really looking forward to flowering 4 here shortly.

Your mention of Slurriking is interesting, Slurricane looks so damn good from pics iv seen last few years. I’m glad I got more active here last few years, it’s led to some good genetics… and even better people.

Keep up the good work, I’m finding it all so very interesting.

I’ve only ever tried Cap Junky Cut once through dispensary bud, but I agree in the sense that I was in no way disappointed

Ooh, Germany stuff sounds interesting. With their very recent legalization, I feel like a beautiful connection could bloom between America and Deutschland, especially here on OG.

I actually just popped a couple seeds of a Slurricane#7 S1 because of my success with the Slurriking, wanted to see the metaphorical roots.

You’re my #1 fan! Love the positivity

I have to concur with the above accolades. You really put out some consistently great looking plants! I’m sure alot of that is from knowledgeable selection of genetics, but they really seem happy in your care. Mine usually look alot more ragged by late stage flower.(maybe you don’t try to end flush)
Nice camera work also. Makes me wonder how I can up my photo game.:camera_flash::thinking:

@BudLarfy Thanks! I’ve definitely had a lot of ragged finishers, but that has been happening less, but certainly not stopping. Genetics definitely make a huge difference. Been running mostly fancier stuff recently

I use a pretty basic camera. If I’ve learned anything, it’s that lighting is everything, so experiment a lot. I also take tons of pics and delete all but the best

Wondered where you went. Have you run Sugar Cane or Deluxe Sugar cane?

Your plants look stellar (as usual)

Less purple? Never really seen that before but that’s pretty neat. You think it was temp induced?

I have not! Just barely begun working my way through the catalog, but I’d love to get to that one some day. You?

I have no idea. Wondering if it was more genetic/phenotype, because it was same conditions all my plants always get, and its sister didn’t do that living right next to it. Wish I had pics of it younger. Will be interesting to see what happens as it swells and matures.
