Regs don't sell?

curious why you pick reg’s but in no way knocking it.

I usually buy regs because the selection is better and it’s easier to find killer deals on solid genetics.
And I will do pollen chucks when I find males that are special.
Last year I made 5 new strains with a superb Tropic Driver male (by MIT seed company).
Testing them now…

You can sell them to me.

I prefer regs and only buy feminized when it’s some 2 female cross of some elites I’m interested in.

What point would you advise shifting to 18-6?

I am a 24/0 for veg personally. I start everything under the same conditions inside. You can do an incredible amount of light manipulation. It all depends on your goals

I only use 24/0 after harvest to re-veg. I’m going to start doing 12/12 for the first couple weeks, that is more natural. Thanks!

If you want them to stay in veg you’ll need 18/6. This is especially true for cuts.

I usually buy regs so incase I find something I like then I can ibl them. But fems have served there purpose when your only allowed a few plants or want something as close to the original clone as you can get without getting the original clone

Regs regs hurrah regs. I can make seeds

I like to do half of my outdoor grows with regulars.

I like the description when looking up Tropic Driver. “Flavor packed, abundant beach sand hash”.

I won’t buy autos or feminized seeds. Seed dealers should cry.

If you fall in love for the nice smile of a cashier, you should only buy fems and autofems. Some conquests ask to show the regularity of your attention.

I’m almost proud of this one :smirk:

I still have your bw pollen from a male keeper in vac locks in feeezer. Thanks again!
Regs make it 10x easier to make a ton of pollen and reserve half at least. You get a little more genetic diversity.

Fems will save a lot of time and hassle for farmers and home growers.
Autos suck.

Fems are for people who don’t want to learn about growing. They also CHAIN you to the seed seller. No seeds to plant, no plants until you pay.

As far as the objection that “I don’t want to hassle with males and females” I have a solution to you. Go buy the grown and dried indica at the dispensary. That makes it easy, just buy and smoke. There is the bummer about having to light it but with practice you can figure that out.

I love seeing what happened in this generation and the next and the next. YMMV

Idk…that’s a lil dramatic…

I personally wouldn’t waste my time or $ on fems, but everyone’s situation is diff…

Lol…
You probably still live in the past, before CS, before STS, before learning stress factors to induce male pollen from fem plants…
You do remember your smoking the Fems yes ?
No reason to introduce 50% of unknown genetic pool into a known successful plant.
That’s the main reason fem breeding is better for the end result (smoking).
Enhancing structure, terepene profile, disease resistance, all of this can be added with a male sure but again, with today’s seed making methods it’s irrelevant.
If you have a killer smoke clone, self it or reverse it to a complimentary fem from every genetic you want, this way your enhancing, not downgrading, that is if your killer clone don’t need added traits that don’t relate to smoking effect.
Regs have their place for ease of use when breeding as not many people self or reverse plants and fear from myths surrounding this concept.
It’s always strike me as funny the double standards people hold, they will scream regs all day but If they S1 their killer clone they will hold those seeds till their death haha

That’s very interresting, what are the clones-only you stabilized this way ? I totally understand the interrest for S1s no problem, but you literally talking about enhancing and evolution. Not the same constraint.

Yea as a “fem grower” i guess i just want to learn about gaslighting not growing.
