Open pollination fems ?

Let me break it down for you my friend,
My friend grew some bud outdoors, I took some and it was kinda decent nothing special, I grew the seeds I got from those buds, I got 6 fems from 40+ seeds.
From those 6 fems, 2 were worth keeping.
I did a clone run of those 2 and got some more seeds, then I ran those seeds, each generation the phenos I was getting are better as each grow I narrow down the plants to only those I like.
Now after my final run, the seeds I got now are S3 or S4, I have like 70 seeds.
Let me tell you something, you won’t get those seeds from my hands so easy haha

I dont have pictures of “open pollination” as I didn’t do it, just got some seeds from a clone run that had some bananas.

Tell me how you do this or how it relates to plants. Even better… let’s follow your logic for a minute. Since you’ve provided your experience and that’s it, let’s talk about it. You haven’t provided any sources other than yourself, which doesn’t count as a source. You have shared your experience and it’s valuable. You are simply wrong in your thinking. Things aren’t black or white. There are combinations of genes working together. Some only work in the presence of other genes. You don’t seem like you’ve got much of an education so tell us what other things you understand about plant genetics so we can all be in the same page. What about Spanish folks? Canadians? Italians? Argentinian folks? Ecuadorian? If an Ecuadorian person and an Italian person get together, tell me with certainty how the progeny end up. If there are three kids and you only like one, do you cross your favorite kid to you second favorite to keep it going? Pretty sure we’ve seen the results of inbreeding in some human populations. Selecting for the best doesn’t mean you get the best. Is that not understood? Feel free to correct me though. I’m just using your logic.
Why weren’t they all fems? Or do you literally mean female? Explain to me what’s going on here. You’re over my head. So you used sts? Can you walk us through your process? Or were they just herms you liked and have kept the seeds?
At first I thought I didn’t want them. But please. Tell me what you’re looking for. I’d LOVE to have some of these magic open pollination outdoor hunted, best weed of my life fems. I will trade you whatever I’ve got or send cuts. I just want to experience whatever has your mind like this.
It only took us this many posts for you to actually lay out your experience and position. I’m glad you’re here but maybe learn from these conversations. No one is telling you your experience isn’t valid, just to explain it in a way that allows for others to repeat what you’ve done. If the work you’ve done isn’t repeatable by others, then it’s useless. I appreciate you finally just laying out your experience.

Most of the time when folk says fems it is referring to feminized seeds. The way your process reads is that you had six females out of a population of 40 regular seeds as received from a friend. FWIW, an unusual M/F ratio. You had then selected from that population for your desirable traits. One trait being being selected are hermaphrodites (aka bananas) and, from the point onward, you utilized this trait, allowing the plants to herm to generate additional seeds, to further make selections. In this way, your theory is, you can self without worrying about reversal. Is that what you are doing?

In other news, I do think fems are becoming an option for breeders as things progress because I’d imagine they make less seeds overall during selfing than a male/female cross would. Maybe regs sell well, but folks overestimated how many f1 packs people would buy and only sold 2000 of their 150,000 or whatever it may be. It’s hard to have a male/female pollination and not end up with loads. I’m an inexperienced chucker though so folks with more experience may correct me.

Reversals yield as much as you want them to… If you’re just using one plant, then it depends on how effective your reversal is on pollen vs. beans. If you want beans, and you’re smart, you’re not reversing the whole plant
I have some free GMO S6. Some plants are runts, others will create negative void space and throw off the space time continuum. No herms though!
