When you get ready to harvest, are you thinking of cutting plants down at soil base line and leaving root system in place or maybe cutting a little deeper into the soil to remove plant? Leaving the root system would leave some residue nutrients, and give new plants a network to follow with their new root system.
Was just thinking if trying to pull up the plants from the bed, would most likely distribute the network of microbes, etc.

I was in London (UK) on vacation with my sis and we always ate at pubs. Looking over at a table, I saw a chav woman talking with a friend and without breaking a beat or loosing eye contact she was able to roll a cigarette with 1 hand while drinking her pint with the other.
If ya wanna braid branches and tie knots, grow a photo, let it go 5-6 months but DONT baby it. Light, super light on nutes, minimal watering. Ya want long, thin, pliable branches. I have kept plants for taking cuttings off of that were âneglectedâ for lack of a better word. You can easily braid / tie the branches (30-36" but 1/4" - 3/8" thick at the most). They will likely look very straggly, tiny leaves, etc. Once tied / formed how ya want, pot it up with some root trimming into REALLY fertile soil. Youâll get a ton of renewed growth and your branches will get fatter in the shape you formed them in.
Currently doing it with a white widow here, well, playing with it, was able to put in 8 or 9 braids easily, form a few shapes. Havenât decided what to do with it yet. Phones upstairs on charger now, but Iâll snap a pic laterâŚ

My right hand is froze up with arthritis so i use a candle and hemp wick to light my joints that my kid rolled for me damn getting old sucks
This is exactly what I did. I cut off all the fan leaves or anything without trichomes and hung them. I was planning to buck them off the stems and bag them up and into the freezer for hash.
Good idea, I have a couple laying around.

I joke around about doing that inside with a tall growing sativa. I have enough lights to cover a 12 - 14â plant that is laid out like that.

See us Brits are good at a lot of things. Personally if I seen a lass rolling her own ciggies Iâd avoid her but if it was a J Iâd be crawling up her leg 
Seems I remember someone growing cannabis horizontal.
Actuall if i remember. He grew it as tall as he wanted it and basically turned it on its side with a screen attached. The buds and branches grew out of the screen.
Got 583 grams of 1/2 dry (5 days) buds bagged and in the freezer. Iâll give the rest another 5 days or so. Probably another 200 grams or so left hanging. It will have to wait for my arm to fully recover before a final manicure.

lol Hope you can see the weaves in there. Sheâs given me lots of cuttings to work with, and I just kinda put her in a corner and neglected her. She got all lanky but with lots of fresh growth. Now I gotta pot her up into a 5g with a nice fresh mix of well fertilized soil and watch her get covered in new growth in no time.
