ReikoX's Workshop Rebuild 2020

Usually they are about 100microamps to drive, so stacking isolated drivers should be doable. The only question in my mind is they spoof the overload protection Cct. so there might be some weirdness connecting a couple drivers up but I can’t see any obvious issues (yeah, famous last words - right?)

I for one would like to see your results.

They claim you can drive four per driver, that’s how I wired everything. It’s a 4 amp driver.

Should be cool. Somebody’s kid bench tested that configuration.

I hear yah. I wanted to do light strips myself and it’s looking like that’s gonna happen, can’t afford a second light any other way. I need to grow 4 plants or SOG 2 and cover the area with first contact photons in the 750+ par range for flowering, my current light is good to cover half of my cabinet and meet those perimeters. Could you please advise me on how to proceed on building an equivalent to cover the other half.

My buddy came over today and put up more sheetrock in the flower room. It’s pretty easy to practice social distancing with an 8’ piece of sheetrock between us. I had to help with the ceiling, otherwise I was in my office working.

Love to read this thread @ReikoX

I’m browsing for supplemental light in the far red side. Can you recommend something?

These are the ones I’m using (in addition to the exotic board)

My buddy came by again today and finished up the sheetrock in the veg room. He still has a few small pieces to fit, then will begin with the tape and mud. I still need to build and test my lights, sew my fabric beds, mix up my soil, and install my exhaust to work on in the meantime.

On January 3, 2020 I put my mother plants into the 16x16 tent in my master bathroom. Despite multiple trimmings, these plants have grown quite leggy over the last few months.

They sure look ready for you to take some cuttings!

I imagine you can take all of the cuttings you want - and them some… but you are still going to need a hedge trimmer for the rest!!
That is amazing!! You could populate a warehouse. :star_struck:

My plan, for today anyway, is to take cuttings from all and throw them in the flower room once I get it done.

Guess since I’m US, that would be inches. :straight_ruler:

Slowly but surely, the flower room has the first layer of tape and mud.

I spent a couple hours working on these cabinets today. Hit everything up with some 120 grit and a palm sander. I need some wood filler to fill the screw holes and then I’ll get a couple coats of primer on them.

I got my darkroom louvers this week, here is one in front of the door. I need to figure out how I am going to install these in the doors.

money well spent-- I tried making some mock-ups with cardboard & realized quickly that buying units takes WAAAAAY less time! It was fun to check out different designs though.

Nice. :+1:

Totally agree. I’ve had mine for about 3 years and $30 for the 8 x 8 inch vent.

@ReikoX I cut a hole for mine with a jigsaw in my steel cabinet. Then used a piece of 1x2 poplar to trim up the inside. Caulk in the cracks and paint.

So today my dad came over. First thing he did was sand the mud and tape work my buddy did while I donned my mask and went to the hardware store. Then he gave me a lesson on how to apply the joint compound and make it smooth. After I did half a wall, he went home with a couple of Cherry Tart clones and I continued working. I got another wall and a half done. I’m about to knock out the rest of the wall room this morning.
