Resimax's flower shots

Hi all. This topic is for showing off some end product flower of mine that I particularly liked.

Starting off are some of my favorite grows from 2024.

Kannabia - Kaboom (La Reina de Africa)

This was prematurely harvested because another plant in that tent had a minor case of powdery white mildew. The second image is my profile picture.

Royal Queen Seeds - Purplematic CBD

This plant was also prematurely harvested because it had a severe nitrogen deficiency, and it stopped maturing for a couple weeks. Still though, it’s the best CBD variety I ever grew, and smells like pure citrus. This is one of the only plants I am able to smoke with my disability. It was the first time I tried ScrOG-ing, and as you can see, I messed that up completely. One day it grew about 6 inches overnight, which was the day after I HST’d the main at a 90 degree angle, creasing it. Messing with it anymore would have snapped it, and I didn’t want to, so I just let it grow up above the net. It came out to be a respectable 5.1oz dry from an autoflower.

Seedsman - Banana Jealousy

And yet another premature harvest. This one had a very severe phosphorus deficiency and it stopped growing, practically dead on the stem. Still, the smoke was incredible after 8 weeks of bloom.

Custom - Funky Grapes (Wicked) x MAC v2 (Capulator)

The holy grail of 2024. Best high, best smoke, best looking flower. She started out as a runt, only 6 inches tall for 8 weeks until I flipped her, then check out how she grew:

I had about 20 more plants from 2024, but these were the top ones worth showing. Until next time…

Oh yeah, Purplematic was also harvested early because it was the middle of summer, and we had a week straight of 105F temperature and 95-98% humidity. My equipment could only bring it down to 65-70%, and after two days of that, I knew it had to come down.

Ive learned to never under estimate a runt. Quite often theyre :fire: oh, and slow growers too!!

Nice bud shots gromie!! :ok_hand: Well done!

Yeah that plant impressed the hell out of me. It grew more than 6x its height from the end of veg, taller than any other of the 5 plants in that tent. On top of that, not a single bud was larf. Every bud was solid as a rock and had weight to it. Finally, the bud had practically zero leaf in it, so trimming it was a breeze.

I love those high calyx:leaf phenos. I have a bunch of washers in my collection, so larf isnt the worst per say. But its not very common for me to pull larf from anything these days.

Right on, but just a minor correction. The inflorescence is made up mostly of bracts, not calyxes. A calyx on cannabis is just a transparent papery material that covers the ovule (and eventually seed if one forms). It’s only a few cells thick.

Most growers think bracts are calyxes, so not a big deal… people will know what you’re talking about. It only seems to bother me
