Loss of an icon; I’m not much into boxing but I do have 3 of his grills.
RIP George!
That’s the first thing I said when my mom told me about it last night.
“I use his grill all the time.” ![]()
RIP to a real one. I’m not much into boxing either, but I’ve seen his Ali fight at least. Dude was an absolute monster. And you have to admit his grills are dope little contraptions. Mad convenient and they work like a charm.
Oh snap. Now Im gonna put his grill up for sale on ebay for like $500. New in box.
RIP for real
I’m into boxing and his amazing grill haha…used that bad boy in college 20 years ago to make burgers paninis and pretty much anything that would fit
His grill got me through for a few years. RIP He always seemed so happy.
I never stayed in a dorm in college, but I’d imagine those grills are practically tailor-made for it. ![]()
If you get the angle right you can scramble eggs on them!
Prop 'er up with a textbook or something I suppose. LOL
R.i.p, i had one as a kid and would often cook meat with it.
Those bad boys were contraband in my dorm. I had a little 2 burger sized one, lived off patty melts for quite a while. Used it for toast as much as meat. I move it around in my cabinet of shit that I might use one day from time to time.
RIP George.
Big George had a big heart. His life early on was rough. He grew into a beautiful person after the Ali fight. Won the title back in his late 30 early 40’s?
RIP Big George Foreman.
The good news is that there are 5 more left. ![]()
Age 45 defeated Michael Moorer for heavyweight title, becoming oldest man to win title in 94.
Rest in peace Champ…
I’ve always been a fan but became even more so, watching him on “Better Late Than Never”. RIP George.
Hubby (Draig) and our Son watch old boxing matches every day as part of their daily ‘binge watch’ sessions…
Today they will forgo the usual follow-up of a TV series (currently Wild Wild West) and are having a George Foreman Marathon in his honor.
Man may not have been very creative at naming his kids, but was a wonderful person. He went back to being a Preacher (he stopped in '77 to return to boxing) and died peacefully surrounded by his family.
Rest in Peace Big George!
You and Ali have a a lot to catch up on! ![]()
A terror in the ring. Opponents feared him. A father son Foreman marathon is amazing!
RIP
He was one of the scariest heavyweights of all time. He had god like power in those hands, rarely seen even to this day. A true boogie man of boxing and a legendary fighter that we are all so fortunate to have seen preform in the squared circle. You will be forever missed “ Gorgeous” George Foreman.
Rest in peace my friend ![]()
RIP George. I even got a grill one time. ![]()
