I sure hate this, but I was awakened this morning to a text from @olekool830’s wife that he passed away Saturday night at 10PM. He had stage 4 pancreatic cancer. She said they found it last Friday and he died on Saturday (I’m assuming a week later).
I’m blown away, and I know he was everyone’s buddy, and he was one of the OG Team Leaders, too, so I thought maybe we can pin this thread for a week or so and let people leave any funny stories or condolences, or anything you feel like. I can pass it to his wife if she is interested.
That’s all of the news I have. He texted me last Tuesday about his pancreas and that’s the last text I got. I know he was a great guy with a big heart and he always made me laugh with his meme selections on some days. I’m really stunned myself because we had become pretty good friends just from meeting here. I’m just tore up, today.
