He had some Crater Lake that I believe @Muleskinner made, and he sent me three seeds. He said it was one of his favorites and made me really want it, heh. So, I’m thinking of planting those as soon as I’m sure I won’t be back in the hospital for a week straight. I should know tomorrow when I go back to see the Ortho doc. I think he’s cancelling an upcoming one week stay, since the wound is finally healing over.
I’ve always wanted to grow and smoke the Crater Lake, so when I start them I’ll try to do a journal. Thanks @oleskool830, and sorry it took me so long to get around to them. peace
Now is the perfect time I’m thinking.
Maybe even a seed run and donate his favourite strain out??
I’m just throwing ideas out on how he can be remembered. Don’t mean to put any “strain” on anybody to remember the man. Just feel his presence needs to remain with us in some way.
I’d sent him some SSDD F1 cuts of my keeper, and a sample, which he said he and Ms Oleskool liked a lot. I just dropped 8x more F1’s to try and make a memorial seed run… hooves crossed lol!
I had some Hindu Hashplant soaking when I read @GMan 's announcement. They were gonna be grown out in his honor, but they all croaked… probably a homicide too. Would have cracked him up!
Yeah @oleskool830 liked killing seeds. He tried to give my bdxck a run but his temperatures were stupid high and he killed them.
What I really loved about that run was he blamed the seeds rather than the environment.
Total legend.
Oooh Dynasty’s Crater Lake is a great one! Do you know if there’s a version on that name? Prof P has made 6 different versions of that cross over the years… Should definitely do a seedrun if you can but like esrgood4u said, no pressure
I was fortunate to get some doubles of his slaps along with some great smoke . Glad you appreciate that yeti.
He surely will be missed one hell of a great friend .
Let me know if you would like any lebanese sinatra seeds.
I know oleskool enjoyed that one. dank sinatra f1 x lebanese landrace.
It’s an unusual hybrid, indoor growing brings out the hybrid characteristics, and outdoor cultivation brings out the more rustic lebanese characteristics.
So sorry to just now hear about oleskools passing, haven’t been on here as much. My condolences to his family and the community for his loss. Oleskool you were a cool dude man. Rest easy.
Yeah, I remember @oleskool830 talking about that one a lot. I’d give it a shot.
I grew some of @lefthandseeds Black Leb and Black and Blue Leb outside this last summer. I haven’t smoked much yet. I had a huge harvest from a great growing season last summer.
I’m hoping I can pass an invitation on to Tim’s wife and family to stop by and read this thread. I know it may be something they want to go slow on, so I’ll ask.
It sure is nice to see so many folks stop in to say goodbye. He was such a nice dude. Peace
Funny, I was just thinking about Tim. I’m sitting at the bar watching football and he popped into my head and the Crater Lake seeds he sent, that I want to do. He sent a couple of Octopots for me to use. I wanted to do the CL in those. I still need a few items to use that system.
