I sure miss ole Tim. Man, I come across stuff all the time that he sent. I have his stickers on the fridge and a few other things he left here when he visited. I think about him a lot.
Love you Tim! Hope you’re teaching them all how to roll a Texas size joint up there! RIP bro.
Oleskool was a great guy from everything I ever read of his here- knowledgeable, generous, and happy to share with anyone else who loves cannabis and had good vibes. If anyone wants another option to honor his memory in the way he requested besides the sorta ambiguous tree donation link on the funeral home page, this would have been the land conservancy in his area that preserves the Hill Country and you can make a tribute donation in his name if you’d like:
Nice job! I want to make a pack and send to his wife eventually. I sent them things from time to time. I’ve been floored since he passed. You’re right @Esrgood4u! The dude was truly a nice guy. I’m sure glad I got to meet him personally. He’s the sort of guy I would have hung around with back when we were teens. I’m sure glad we all got to meet him. He was all about spreading love.
Since he left us all the man’s hit the “legendary” status bro. He was a legend before he died and that status will continue here on OG I’m sure. @GMan you got to meet him in person. That is something you need to constantly remind yourself of and keep close to your heart but also feel privileged. He’s a huge OG miss. onward through the fog.
Man, looking back, he was really sick when he was here. I had literally just gotten home from the hospital the day he got here. After 7 days in there and all doped up, I realize how little I paid attention to his condition.
He was cutting loose a little maybe. He went to the shops and found some good wax, flower and even got himself some Blue Moon beer.
The next day he was ready to leave and I wondered why. He never talked about his immediate health before, other than COPD. I thought he sort of left in a hurry and wan’t really himself. He left some items here at the house and ended up with a pair of my jeans, lol.
Man, a few weeks later it all made sense. Really sad but he was a real trooper. Funny as hell and he could still smoke me under the table with all of that on his back.
Oh no…. I haven’t logged in for a few months. A man as magnanimous as Oleskool has got to be missed terribly by his loved ones. I’m so sorry for your loss. Oleskool’s humanity was so apparent in every post. He made a special effort with every. Single. Post. It was incredible and along with Crunch’s SIP thread was the only thread I caught up on at every visit. What a contribution he and his family have obviously made to our core human needs, an affable leader, a loyal follower. Oleskool I hardly knew ye… and yet so much depth and charm shone through. Your battle is ended, your conflicts laid down. We won’t let them languishe Oleskool, but pick them up and cArry on. We’ve been taught how to move forward whatever the weather, or visibility, together.onward, ever onward. Thanks for everything, especially the Texas weather reports!
It certainly looks that way.
Honestly @GMan he was a proud man that just did his thing. I reckon he kept his illness from EVERYONE not just us. I know I miss his comments and memes but I hate to think what his family have went through since he died.
We can’t change anything BUT we can make sure he’s never forgotten by keeping this thread alive. Chin up bro. @oleskool830 wouldn’t want us feeling shitty like this.
