That is true to some extent. Good glass from China does exist; the main factors are the thickness of the product and the quality control standards upheld. In my opinion, DHgate is no different than Wish or Temu. Sure, there are some nice finds, but 99% isn’t worth the shipping cost.
That said, it is a cheap option that works. If you’re looking for something of high end, you aren’t looking on Dhgate in the first place.

I did not have a chance to pick up that new bowl, was such a busy week. I will give it a go with the current bowl this weekend. The smaller bowl may be better for my old ass lungs anyway.

Hey bud, gave this bong a go and it works great. While I still need to get a bigger bowl, the one that comes with it certainly got the job done and was probably easier on my 53 year old lungs. Thanks very much for this wonderful bong brother, I really appreciate it. I am not sitting here stoned because of it, tee hee.

DUDE! Double perc and ice-pinch!
I got from dollarama a few mini-round-icecube trays with silicone bottoms for easy ice removal. they fit perfectly into a bong like yours with the ice pinch!!
When you upgrade your bowl, look into an ash-catcher. Yes it’s more to clean up but seriously it cut down on the lung harsh a lot.
With a combo of 5x ice cubes, cold water and ash-catcher even Mrs. P who has serious asthma can take direct hits from the bong.
