Rocket Seeds and Crop King seeds apparently selling counterfeit product

I used to be a vendor for crop king when I was helping run a grow store in Kensington market in Toronto about 6 years ago.Trust me, pure scam. They went from having 20 cultivars available to over night suddenly had over 500 and I knew what was up at that point.We stopped doing business with them pretty much at that point. At one point they were just shitty breeders but would guarantee beans and replace so people trusted that. They were actually legit at one point and then something happened where they became white label hustlers and scammers. They also wanted us to give away freebies from their sister company sunwest genetics that have the exact same list of seed and very similar packaging just before they were getting ready to scam. I remember the day after wyeast farms released horchata crop kink had it on their menu, labeling white label seeds whatever they wantlol. Dark horse called them out in his podcast for selling fake Bruce banner. Here is a clone of crop king owned by same company.
https://www.sunwestgenetics.com/ Lol I just checked the site and prices have doubled since the last time I looked. Used to be 10 fem beans for 60 bucks. Now they charging that for 6 beans. Have a look at the two websites, notice any similarities?

So you have every strain under the sun plus one, with colorful flower shots for each and give no credit to the breeder. The number one thing to look for in an unscrupulous seed bank. I looked at your site and it reeks of white lable, i got whateveryou want, scam. I suggest you continue to try and bullshit the less informed. Most of us in here know the deal.

The seed fair is complete trash. Who you trying to dupe? Welcome to the forums where you are dealing with informed growers, not some noobs you can swindle. You sell S1 seeds and give zero credit to original breeders and that’s all an experienced seed buyer and grower needs to see to KNOW that you are selling pure knockoffs. Who’s doing your breeding? What part of the country is your breeding facilty in? Do you have a license to breed in Canada?

@TheSeedFair Why are you selling Bruce banner seed? Yiu def did not make the cultivar. I see that’s your favourite cultivar. You would think if it was your favourite you would at least give a little credit to Darkhorse, you know the guy who actually made it. What filial generation are the regs? Yiu don’t mention that and so are insinuating that they are f1?

You’ll probably have one chance to get that right. It had better be good. Be mindful of the forum rules.

LMFAO! Nice going Seed Fair! Your post backfired spectacularly didn’t it? First and foremost, the Seed Fair is run by a convicted felon named Brendon Evan Kennedy of Newport Beach California. The astute users of this forum easily called out the Seed Fair for being an obvious online scam. It makes me sad to think that some poor newbie grower is going to pay top dollar for hemp seeds relabeled with a sharpie. That’s how Brendon Evan Kennedy and the Seed Fair roll. Kennedy has been running Cannabis related scams out of Southern California for over a decade, starting with the notorious Clone Queen Genetics which ripped off 100’s of local growers. In 2019 Kennedy was sued in Federal court for copyright infringement and fraud and fined $20,000 for operating the cannabis clone bait and switch company UPS420. This case made national news headlines and details of the case can be easily found online by googling “UPS v Kennedy”. I highly encourage folks to look that case up. Now Kennedy is running a bait and switch seed scam using the fake name “Patrick Wilson” of the Seed Fair. Yes, if you dealt with Patrick Wilson, you dealt with Brendon Kennedy. One thing to remember about Kennedy’s scamming tactics is that he writes literally thousands of fake five star reviews online to prop up his sham businesses. His fake reviews are all over the internet. He preys on new growers. I’m so glad you posted again Patrick, errr I mean Brendon! It was fun watching you get roasted. So, while I have your attention, why don’t you tell us all about the “breeders” you use at the Seed Fair. When I asked you about this over the phone, you simply hung up. Or maybe you can tell us Brendon about the time recently when you were banned from the Roll It Up cannabis forums when moderators caught you using multiple sock puppet accounts to defend the Seed Fair against a group of growers you had ripped off. That was a classic! Let’s discuss this more Brendon! We’re having fun with this!

Same deal BossRoss. Repeating the same things over again is not useful. You’ve made a number of claims, have only posted/contributed to this thread since you’ve joined, with primarily innuendo.

You will have the opportunity to respond to TheSeedFair if they respond with additional information.

Well thank you for your concerns Mr. Moderator. While I don’t like being repetitive, I felt it necessary to repeat a few facts to add context to my post. In light of the major fraud being perpetrated by the Seed Fair, I feel that it was necessary and appropriate. If I can save even one grower from this bait and switch seed scheme it’s well worth it. I guess we’ll have to agree to disagree on this one. Cheers!

Such threads tend to turn into out yourself threads.

Your claims have already been made clear. This community is aware of the existence of good/bad actors within the seed merchant scene.

If you wish to continue to post here, you will need to follow moderation guidance.

So the “moderation guidance” is to never repeat anything stated in a previous post. Got it! Thanks again for your guidance!

This is not going to become an endless tit for tat / he said she said. Give the vendor a day or two to follow-up with their proof. Is there something else you’d like contribute to further your claim?

@BossRoss

Still waiting for our apology.

How many sites did you spew your b.s. about us on?

We don’t care who owns what. Using names makes it clear you have a personal issue with this person and brings drama.
A scam is a scam, every one here knows about crap king and their affiliates so please don’t spam our forum with your drama.
You and seed fair can take your shit somewhere else

@CoastalMarySeeds @BossRoss

Yes this guy has not only said it about both our websites but also countless others. Maybe about 8 other forums just writing about no facts and just making items up. There is most likely no Brandon Kennedy that owns any of the seed sites. We know the owners of Crop King and the rest and as well as our own site. Just made up garbage.

@Kushking902 Actually it is not our drama. Just like @CoastalMarySeeds we do not want our name written in the bullshit that BossRoss is writing. We are not a scam and we sell regular seeds just like everyone else.

Yes that is correct we can provide any evidence that this company is not owned by the made up Brandon Kennedy and as well we are certainly not operating out of Newport California. Let me know and we will gladly show proof on here. Its also not just our site he attacks.

Just to clarify the situation. You are not affiliated with Crop King or their other sites? And if not what is your opinion of their business practices?
Because just to the casual observer I see some similarities in the product and style of marketing in a lot of seed vending sites I have suspicions about.

No we are not affiliated with the other websites. However we do know each other. Many website has met and or knows each other from meetings like MJBIZCON etc etc. Its very easy to see who are the owners when you attend events. The products are not the same and some may come from the same suppliers it just depends. We are stores and each store can choose to buy their products from any breeder and vendor.
