@Guitarzan when your unit shows up - look at the right hand upright - if it looks like this one - you have to call the 800# to get the part sent out - the gal [Pam Anderson - IKR?]

I still don’t have mine, but today FedEx changed the status to, “Unable to deliver under this tracking number - Multiple shipping labels on shipment”. I called them and again asked if I could just come pick it up, and again they told me no, so I called JEGS.
I talked to Mike, then his manager Chris. He put me on hold while their FedEx rep called the depot. He came back and said they couldn’t get an answer, but they put a trace on it. He said he doesn’t want to send me up there until they know for sure it’s there and undamaged. As soon as FedEx responds to the trace, JEGS is supposed to call me.
He said he’s never seen that status on a FedEx shipment, and he thinks they’ve damaged it somehow. Isn’t that what happened to the first one you got? Didn’t FedEx tear the box open and lost some of the parts or something?
If there’s no movement tomorrow, I’m gonna ask JEGS to send me another one, and tell FedEx to send this one back.

Well, I still don’t have mine. FedEx changed the status to a delivery exception that reads, “Unable to deliver under this tracking number - Multiple shipping labels on shipment”. JEGS has told me Tuesday they put a tracer on the package and they’d get back to me when they heard from FedEx.
Yesterday I called them and asked them if they could just send me another press and tell FedEx to send theirs back to them. She told me those presses are out of stock until November.
I was able to find this 10 ton shop press on ebay for the same price, so I’m calling JEGS back and cancelling that order and ordering this one.
They say it’ll be here by Tuesday. Unfortunately this company also uses FedEx, so there’s no way to know, but we’re gonna find out. 
edit: Called JEGS. FedEx told them they are unable to locate the shipment. I cancelled the order, and ordered the one from Ebay. It’s supposed to be here Tuesday. I’m sure I’ll wind up with them both before it’s all over. A spare would be nice.

Pollen press suggestions?
I had a T-handle style that worked OK up until last night when the threading stripped out. It was a freebie that came when I purchased my bubble bag set. I guess you get what you pay for…
Is a hammer press the way to go? I’m thinking fewer moving parts means less that can go wrong, but I’m not sure how well it performs. I’m using this as a pre-press for flower, then putting the resulting puck into bottle tech bags to be squished by my 4-ton Dabpress.

Hammer presses are fine…BUT make sure that the inner part is long enough to push out a puck. (some are not)
I used to have one, but it’s been a long time, since I went back to 3x5 pre-press molds. Bottletech put out too much PSI on my 12 ton Dabpress and ripped the parchment (Kirkland stuff)

I pressed all of the trim and larf from my four Time Bandits yesterday and all of the trim and larf from my two Gojis today and ended up with this:
The red’s the Time Bandit and the green’s the Goji. 40 grams of Time Bandit trim yielded 2.8 gams of rosin and 22 grams of Goji trim yielded 1.5 grams. Not the greatest percentages, but that was with trim; I wasn’t expecting much. Still turned out much better than the first time I tried with that old Smart Move flower… And that was just with tiny little larfy buds and sugar leaf or whatever you wanna call it. Definitely looking forward to squishing some real flowers in the next couple days…

Are you talking to me? Data for what other batches? Also, the Goji’s closer to 15 to 1, and the TB’s like 14 and a quarter. But who’s counting, right?

yah for sure I was interested in the yield from the pressing, just for curiosity’s sake. I plunked your numbers into a calculator and got .4 difference in the yield of the two, so I just counted it as 14 it’s more like 14.6 and 14.2 hah hah I dropped the decimals as insignificant figures. That why I asked you if you had more data from other pressings, just to see if there is a big difference in the numbers somewhere.

14.2’s pretty insignificant, but 14.66666666 is KIND of significant. To me at least haha. That’s over a half gram extra.
Like I said in the post, I haven’t pressed any of the flower yet, but I will in the next day or two. I’m really OCD, had these little round labels that would’ve fit perfectly on the lids of the containers, but now I can’t find them (my girl is obsessed with moving shit and not telling me when she does and she says she doesn’t know where they are and that I moved them somewhere; no fucking way haha, it was her). Anyway, I want to be able to differentiate between the “larf rosin” and the flower rosin. I could put it in different colored containers, unlabeled, but that’ll drive me nuts. And at some point, I know I’ll forget which is which. Just trying to figure out another way to label them.
I’ll post the results here whenever I do it. Probably be tomorrow, I’m bored as shit quarantining, nothing at all to do.
