Much appreciated, all the credit goes to BOG and OGS, I am just a messenger. The SSC male was clearly a winner, and the pineapple is unique. I have not grown other pineapples, so I have no reference point other than smoking pineapple strains out of a purchased bag.
It is a formidable hybrid as it has many qualities I look for. Fast sexing, reasonable flower time, not too much stretch, resistant to ills, uplifting/lasting daytime high, nice structure, flexible and loves lst/hst, solid frosty nugs, and a stench reminiscent of a rotten pineapple. It has cured in the jar to a noticeable sasparilla, but I would not call that the norm.
Sounds like she may be in your wheelhouse, and she grows like a beast outdoors to boot.
