Years ago I made a friend from there, of Navajo decent. We bonded over cannabis and mushrooms. ~ 6 years ago his cousin passed, and one of the things he brought back was his seed collection. It wasn’t large, but his cousin was working on this variety he called sanders OG. He named it after the town of Sanders, on the Rez where he resided. This is basically all the info I have about these genetics. But, with a massive amount of work and effort from @NDNCHILD , we turned the 16 or so beans(only 2 females successfully survived) into…
So, as I’m going to have to sit on these a couple months before I can pop any, so I’m looking for a few folks who are looking for something to grow out, right away! I hope if you decide to take part, that you’ll post updates in this thread , but regardless where you update, please tag me. Id like a few testers at least. Let me know if you’d like to help find out what kind of wonderful flowers these will make. I still don’t know.
Thanks you wonderful OG community. My only social media outlet.
P.S. I should say, the sooner they’re tested, the sooner I’ll feel good about sharing them.
Dang, that’s awesome. i love strains with a cool provenance to them, like this. Very cool.
If I had room for anything, I’d hit you up, but I’m over-backlogged as it stands. Best of luck, can’t wait to see how this strain expresses for everyone!
@Rhino_buddy, very cool. When you grew out the few beans you started with, how were scents? Is it s indica dominant OG?
Did anyone smoke any? Head high or Body high?
I will be starting some other Tester seeds in the next 2 weeks and could probably throw down 10-15 beans and pick the best 5-7 midway through VEG.
As far as I know none was smoked. It was all sts covered. The 2 that I got to pop dampened off. Many of the beans NDN had did the same. Hoping the new beans survive better. I wish NDN was around for some input. Hes hard to find right now.
The story definitely intrigues me. I’m setting up a new tent this weekend so I might be able to run a few. I’m guessing since he’s Navajo, it is Sanders, AZ? Do you have any detail on plant size or characteristics like smell?
Let me plan out my tent space and make sure I can do those and the other projects I’m working on and if I can make it work I’ll let you know. I don’t want to commit to something and then not come through as needed.
