Sasparilla x godbud

Just popped 2 seeds of sasparilla x godbud courtesy of @willie. Less than ideal conditions with cool weather low humidity but should be fine as we move into seedling and veg stage. Interesting hybrid and correct me if wrong but potential root beer terps?

Root beer terps are very possible. The mom was Freak Genetics Sassparilla, same mom that he breeds with. That is straight up root beer!

Oh interesting. This is the first I’ve seen her mentioned on this forums. A buddy tossed me a pack of f1s he made demanding I grow her. Root beer terps sound legit

not a lot of folks chasing the rootbeer.

got a few mean mug crosses.
have had two of them so far: x rainbow kush and x godfather og.

both were good. maybe the gfog was closer to rootbeer.

haven’t run the sarsparilla skunk (x skunk1 auto) or Acapulco Float (x ag/nl5diesel)

I wasn’t really aware until @willie had the contest where you guess how many seeds in a container and got lucky so here we are. Godbud was actually a strain I’ve wanted to run for a little while so worked out well. Not much information on sarsaparilla from the interwebs but that’s always interesting compared to genetics that have been run a million times

Frim hangs out @ phenohunters, you can find some info on sarsaparilla there.

Cool man that is pretty helpful and enjoyed seeing the dingleberry strain haha never heard of that. Sorry if I already asked but have you ran these before? My short-term memory sucks so probably already told me

Using some different soil this run after finding it on sale from Amazon… 2 cubic feet around 15 bucks and pretty good quality reminds me of happy frog my normal soil

Good stuff, I’ve used it a bit. I moved up this past round to stonington blend and I’m not sure it was worth the difference in price to be honest. Keep an eye out for sales at Ace Hardware…they don’t come up often but it’s usually the lowest price you can find on it.

Yeah man I’ve used just ab every cannabis type medium known to man except this bar harbor blend and agree regarding Stonington. Very dark rich and nice texture but after a few runs didn’t quite earn my seal of approval haha esp considering the price point. I’m a simple dry organic amendments with recharge guy so the soil just needs to be decent with good aeration. I’ve learned over the years that moisture levels can vary wildly based on storage so never know what you’re going to get. Nice amount of perlite in this particular bag of bar harbor

Just transplanted first seedling into 1 gallon and will stay in this container until sexing… interesting twist on the stem as it grew in a knot around itself but no ill effects
