Scorpio's 3rd Grow

Hi guys! It’s been a while since I was on here. Although, I did sneak on Discord a couple times.
I was on the busy side so did not post my second grow. I don’t have many pics either, just busy and wasn’t in the picture taking mood I guess. Finally had a little to show for my work this time. I only did a small grow to practice and used a couple plants to get some seeds. I ended up with about 19g per plant on average. I know a lot of you do way more but I’m working on it and did get enough seeds to make more so that’s cool to me!

The pic came out pretty bad. That weed is completely dried but the camera made it look so green! And yet somehow the solo cup isn’t as red as it should be, Lol!
Anyways, I am starting another one and plan to be more on top of things with updating you guys and keeping a journal this time.
Seeds are soaking as I type and will be in paper towels tomorrow!

Hoping they all pop but have a couple backups if they don’t. Even have my security in place right next to my red solo cups!

I grow indoors and in soil. I know you get bigger plants outside but I have had neighbours around here have plants stolen so rather not deal with that. Also planning to grow over the winter so that wouldn’t happen outside here in Canada. Well, never say never with this global warming stuff but so far we always have had a bit of a winter holiday from gardening! Lol!
Plans for next Christmas…

Well, I have a long day ahead and I need to try to get a couple hours of sleep. Weed usually works for my insomnia but I think I may need a little break to get my immunity down a bit. I had a couple joints, did several hits off my vape and had an edible and still not sleeping well! I guess staring at this bright screen isn’t helping. I will check in when I have more news on the little ones! Later!

If you noticed a couple different names than my other pic it’s just because I put a couple extra seeds in that weren’t pictured in case any don’t pop. I like to have at least my 4 started at the same time. If more than 4 pop I have a friend that will be happy to take the extras off my hands! They always share when I visit, so bonus for me!

Thanks Bro! I’ll keep you updated. I hope they all do well, I only have a couple random unknown seeds that I popped at the same time to replace any that don’t make it through the early stages. I knew I would give them away if all the good ones lived so didn’t want to lose all of the few good seeds I have. So far so good! All but 1 seed popped, and it still might, I see it cracking a bit, might be a little harder than the others from being older. If not it was still a good percentage that popped.
Note: I consider the good ones the strains I like to smoke and at least seeds I that I know what the strains are. I have several that were given to me by a friend because they were spilled and got mixed up and I don’t know what is what. They only breed specific strains and crosses so they were useless to them. I am sure I will use them as I haven’t collected that many seeds yet and they are still perfectly fine seeds that will grow fine, I just don’t know if they are indica or sativa because they grow both. They are also all regs so will most likely have some males to deal with. Better than not having anything growing though! Later!

Here are my DIY humidity lids! Can always add the cap back on if needed but my place is pretty humid at the moment so no need. Got to go drink some more pop or (soda to you in the US) for those last few plants, I may add a touch of whiskey just for flavour, Lol!

Now you can see the few extra I planted. Philip is one unknown seed I named after my friend who gave a few seeds to me and Rooster is an unknown seed I just named after my old dog. He got named that because he would wake us up at the crack of dawn everyday! Lol! He was born the wrong species!
Or maybe just got a little too high?!? LOL!

Only the one that didn’t pop. Tux, not even sure what it is exactly, another one from a friend. I think it may be Golden Tuxedo and they call it Tux for short? I found info on Golden Tuxedo but can’t find any info on just Tux or Tuxedo by itself. If anyone knows I would be interested as I still have a couple seeds of those left so guessing one of them will pop for grow 4 or my friend really does’t like me, LMAO! I probably just cursed myself. Watch them both pop but be males!

Did have some good luck today though. Got in some flower I ordered locally and I guess they did a bad job of checking it cause I got a seed in it that looks nice and healthy (Darkish brown and no visible cracks) and I’m guessing it would be the same as the strain I ordered? Or did someone accidentally drop a seed from another order in mine? Either way kind of a nice surprise. Haven’t had it happen before from a legit place only friends sharing stuff. Wondering if it is common occurance or not at the legal shops?

Still learning! I messed up with the distance of my light from the plants and they stretched out some. It did get me doing some fun crafts though! Lol! Built some miniature versions of a tomato cage to hold them up when they start to be to top heavy. Two shishkabob sticks, one ring from under the pop (soda) cap and one from under a juice cap, all held together with some twist ties!
The stuff I smoked that day [(Gorilla Glue x skittlez)x(Blue Dream x unkown?) must have had some creativity in it’s strain! Why go to the store when you can stay home and do crafts while smoking!
