I’ve often thought pure Turkish lines were over looked in common cannabis folklore. When I was first starting to smoke weed a older relative who grew a lot back in the 80s was growing a pure Turkish variety. A lot of Turkish and Hindu Kush types were being grown early on by certain ethnic groups around the San Francisco Bay Area and east los Angela’s/riverside county. We here about the Mexican , Thai and the Afghans a lot but not so much about the early Hindu and Turkish strains that came over with people from those areas and made there way into California early cannabis gene pool.
