Second ever grow, First Octopot grow!

Awesome, thanks… Wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something painfully obvious :metal:

Octopots changed my life. So glad some actually took heed and used them, no grower should be without, thanks to Chris, a fellow Michigander, we have one awesome grow system.

I cant see going back to regular growing. Only did it once using 5 gallons pots, but that was enough for me. Too much to worry about when growing. Octopot takes out the guesswork regarding over or under-watering. That alone is worth is for me. Coupled with going several days without having to water… Slam Dunk.

i havnt made my own in ages, usually i get about 8-10 uses out of the bags, then i toss em and get some new ones, i do soak em in a hydrogen peroxide mixture after each use.

Yea I tried the rocket bags, wasnt a fan due to them pushing down on the lid of the 6 gals. Went back to strapped sleves.

We call em Hempy Buckets where I’m from, but there isnt a major difference. The fabric bags help keep the soil aerated which the buckets dont allow. The key takeaway to the Octopot over the SIP is the amount of oxygen the roots have access to.

I notice larger plants when grown in the Octo vs the Hempy.

Here’s a 1 gal hempy I made for making feminized seeds.

Looking Good… Hope you get A Gazillion Seeds :grinning: :grinning:

Very cool, thanks for that! Knowledge is king (or Queen, no bias here :v:)

May I ask what that green stuff is on the bottom of your tent? It kinda looks like a metric ton of melted wax that has dried, lol

Sweet! Stoners are such an inventive bunch. More than one way to skin a cat… Or as Ben wisely exclaimed…

It’s a yoga mat cut up so the camera in the tent doesn’t throw scan lines from the reflection of the light off the ground. Grow stream link
