I had to read back through years of posts in an attempt to dig up enough info to personalize it a bit… Fruitlessly I might add.

You won’t hear one peep of criticism from me - criticizers get stuck doing the work themselves, :joy: this was a lot of work for you, and you did it great! Thanks for all your efforts and the joy you’re bringing us. If you put out the sign up again next year I’ll pop my name right on the list. :green_heart::heart::green_heart:

I had a lot of pent-up, stifled, gift-giving energy just waiting to explode :rofl:, nothing else going on that weekend, and drew a Secret Gift Recipient with similar interests. Some times in my life it’s been a very different story.

I’m happily checking the mailbox every day - the walk is good for me & anticipation is a lot of fun, and there’s no way I’ll wait to open the gift once I get it, so it’s actually better for mine to come later. :joy:

I’m sure you don’t have my name, 'cause my posts would be a short read, just trying to say that faster isn’t inherently better in any way. :green_heart::heart::green_heart:

I sent my recipient’s gift out today  :santa:

This whole time I’ve been wondering how yall knew which member you got.
I just went back and checked @nefrella 's message and realized it was the name above the address which is the screen name not the actual name. I figured the guy had a superheroes name so that’s what I wrote on the package lol

So the P.O. screwed me over royally… but mine will finally be going out tomorrow thanks to @Rena93.

We’ve been very busy and I decided to try having a shipping label sent to us and the package picked up. No label and no pick up but definitely charged for zero service. :man_facepalming:t4:

@Rhai88 do you own a label printer yourself?
I bought one on Amazon not long ago. That and a big digital postal scale. It’s so nice to be able to just login to PirateShip and print a label at home. Saves me money and it’s so convenient.

I got these…

Label Printer
Postal Scale

Dude that’s next… I usually don’t send out much package wise but damn that would be such a great addition.

I’ll keep those in mind. I’ve never used Pirateship. I’ll have to check it out I’m naive to anything other than a stamp envelope and a PO drop box lol

Oh man it’s so cool. Pirateship gives you discounted postal rates… ground, priority, express… whatever you wanna do… thermal printers don’t require ink either… so once you hit print… the label spits out. It’s so satisfying. You can literally just drop bubble mailers in a public mailbox and be on your way.

I’m exactly the opposite. I haven’t used a regular stamp in years. I know coinflips and envelopes are cheap but lots of times I’m sending out sealed breeder packs when I’m finding a pack for someone else and acting as a middle man… like I so often do. Or sending out a gift/trade/etc.

Excellent information man. Bubble mailers are definitely something I’ve wanted to switch to. May end up going this route. Thanks for the info dude. I’ll probably pick your brain more down the road!

Oh, my!
Well I’m sure the logistics of this party can be a nightmare, lol. Who doesn’t like presents?!?
Definitely gonna pay it forward.

For starters…
Free pack of Scarlet Grapes F2 auto fems for the first person to ask for them. :slightly_smiling_face:
The first person that doesn’t have them.

Don’t feel that way. It truly is the participation and thought that counts  :christmas_tree:
