Went looking for the beans in the soil this morning, one of the banana cream pie has completely disappearedšŸ¤· checked that soil 3 times and canā€™t find it anywhere, seen some red ants in that grow area and wondering if they snaked it.

Jack herer are all up and ready to grow

White rhino starting the party

Banana cream pie taking a lil bit longer

Chaulking the one BCP I canā€™t find up as a loss

Other 2 of BCP and last one of white rhino are still progressing in the soil but havenā€™t made it to the surface yet so weā€™re looking like weā€™re only down the one plant, hopefully can still catch a boy and girl of each

Well hereā€™s an update on em, all 4 of white rhino are up and at it starting their first two true leaves, same for banana cream pie, jack herer got some strugglers but nothing I shouldnā€™t be able to handle and get on right track. Had some issues with the Lil red ants getting in my soil and trying to attack the seedlings and using cayenne pepper to ward em off which is the red around the base of em, u can see in the pic of just the one jack baby the Cotyledon was starting to get ate by the ants and caught it in time, will be giving them their first compost tea full of microbes prob by this weekend. Things are starting to move right along

Nice catch and fix for the ants! Theyā€™re looking good. Best of luck as you make your way through this delicate stage :four_leaf_clover:

Well I just canā€™t get these 2 jack herer to get up and with the program, I put some bottles over em as a dome and they seem like they progress but pull it off over night and they decline again, donā€™t think those two are gonna make it, still gonna try through the weekend though.

Had one of my pups get into my grow room yesterday and yanked this poor guy clean out the soil but was nice enough to leave it for the pot for me to find, noticed it a few hours later and the seedling was soft and starting to wilt but noticed roots were still mostly there although pretty dry, threw it back in the soil gave it a splash of water and threw a dome on it over night and weā€™re back in action ( same trick works if you break a radicle on a seedling or a rough transplant)

Everything else looking pretty good and on track now with 4 solid BCP 4 WR and 3 (+2 maybes) JH

Any decision on a name for your strain?

Jackā€™s White Cream Pie.

Not so sure Iā€™m gonna cross any, just pushing forward the cultivars, we will see how things go and how many males/females pop up in about a month, might end up with all girls of one that my only choice is to cross šŸ¤·

I love the idea of the guy from the White Stripes making childrenā€™s desserts!

You misplaced your ā€˜sā€™!

I donā€™t know how I missed this, white rhino caught my attention! Any background on them? Are they from the old line or the newer stuff?

tea time, just started the veg brew and will be feeding tomorrow

Looks like alot but itā€™s also going to be treating my soil catch crate thatā€™s sitting around cooking till I need it, wanted to make sure Iā€™m keeping active microbes and my soil continuing to break down

We got one of the jacks that decided it wanted to join the party, just showing up late

This one on the other hand just isnā€™t having it.

Temps have been a bit colder than I would have liked through this and only heat source is my wood burning stove in the living room so the nights Iā€™m not home after dark has been swinging my temps down then warming things up when Iā€™m home and back down through the night so no surprise the one seedling is taking itā€™s time

Hereā€™s an update of the rest of the kids

looks like we started with 14 seeds, 1 vanished to a soil gnome and one ainā€™t having it, that leaves us 12 with a solid 4 of each cultivar

Plants are getting their first feeding/microbe charge with this recipe, I added fresh blended aloe leafs and left out the Humeā€™s(out of it waiting on an order) I have also added azos and mykos halfway through the brew(forgot I had it till then). Worm castings are fresh from my worm bin on a fan leaf diet and insect frass I use 50/50 roach and cricket

Hereā€™s the finished brew, got some nice head on it

A new Jack baby?! Yes!
Temp swings have been so wild, havenā€™t they? Weā€™re swinging between 44 and 72 F for the low and high over the last 48 hours.
