Lol makes sense, I guess I wont fully abuse her. Being autoflower it should decide to die fairly quick… I hope?
Definitely as they have a limited lifespan anyway whereas with photos, you could keep them going until you tire of them or something does them in
They look awesome super ripe like that. Very nice autumn colors!
On the subject of drying seeds… I may have my first 2 ok seeds I germing in a vial wtf lol. I plucked em and put them in there, went to look st them today and there was actual drops of water in the tube… I guess drying seeds is a legit thing lol
They really do! In hindsight, I am glad life has gotten in the way and the room got as cold as it did though it’ll be nice to see if they still get that pretty in more optimal grow conditions…guess we’ll find out in the next year or so as people grow them out
Sounds about right. Yeah, you want them to dry out for storage especially if going to put them in the fridge or freezer as retained moisture will certainly render the seeds useless at least in my experience. plus its pretty cool to watch them swell up like polymer beads
Just a heads up all, my trust level went up since I’d signed up for this a while back and so I JUST realized this and took my name from trust 2 and put it in trust 3…thus the blank spot in number 7 of trust level 2…just an FYI so nobody thinks someone was deleted accidentally.
Big thanks @MomOnTheRun sending positive vibes your way hope the spring looks better than the winter
No worries as the lists are in place in case a seed run gets a limited amounted when harvesting and these girls are loaded up
No problem! Thank you for the positive vibes its definitely been a rough start in this new year and hopefully the worst of it is over ((knocking on wood))
Those are some dark looking beans, I like it!
Just an FYI.
I bought a Herbsnow dryer to try (runs against everything that I knew, but that’s a different story)
Last dry I found a seed that I had missed when separating and it had gone into the dryer for 3 days. Dropped it and it sure was viable. From now on, I will use it to dry seeds and flower too.
It is not a regular dehydrator (but could be a reworked Pretso dehydrator) and will not go over 80d F.
I am not affiliated in any way.
These look really nice. And the seeds are pretty as hell.
Looking forward to these.
seeds are looking good~~
They’re looking nice MORT bit of LITFA then shazam! lovely ripe seeds
Those seeds are looking mighty good @MomOnTheRun, do you recon you’ll have enough for every one??
Keep up the great work.
Cheers Johnny
A bit of preservation and whole lot of perseverance in this project. Well done(in more ways than one) MOTR!! Great job per usual. The community salutes your grind and unbelievable spirit as always.
Much love and respect lady!
Thanks for your time and work @MomOnTheRun , and @Buzzer777

Hi MOTR! I almost missed this one. Too much poo poo in life last month or so. Hope all is well. peace
Looks exactly like a presto and probably is the same just lower temps? idk, I have an excalibur though never thought of trying it for drying …mostly to smell as I do still have an almost 12 yr old at home. Yeah, he knows though outta sight/smell then outta mind
I really think so as these girls are pretty loaded…I have had them in paper bags since last post and have shaken them up as well as, rotated the cut limbs daily - sounds like an amplified rain stick in the bags plus I left ~10 bottom branches to do their thing and ripen a bit more I’ll thresh them this Friday and do a proper seed count then to put everyones mind at ease
Awww Thank you!
ROFL!
